This is a particularly good mapset, crisp and photo-realistic in appearance. It depicts the above-ground structures of a mining operation - it's either on a marginally-habitable planet or a rather bleak location on an otherwise more hospitable world, although due to the lack of airlocks it is likely that the atmosphere is more or less breathable (you might need a filter mask or oxygen boost, but not a full pressure suit).
The accompanying text gives a quite detailed run-down of what each different part of the plant does. This would be of use if your game involves getting involved in mining operations, but should give a good idea of the potential dangers in each area even if the party is there for other reasons.
There is also a rather convoluted suggestion as to why a brawl has broken out here, involving displaced settlers and mercenaries and all... because after all the real reason for having this detailed a plan is so that combat can take place in the location depicted.
Whilst this is of course system-neutral, it is worth remembering that Mongoose Traveller Adventure 2: Prison Planet is set on a desert world and the prison is built around a disused mine (although convicts can be set to mining to keep them occupied) - this suggests one likely use for this mapset.
Technically, it is beautifully-rendered and presented, as ever, in multi-page and giant poster formats each with the choice of hex grid, square grid and no grid at all.
