This is an incredibly useful guide for creating and running Vampire: The Masquerade chronicles in its fifth and latest edition. It is easy to read, digest and refer to at anytime, featuring various tips on creating V5 games, from settings to characters.
This book consists of four main chapters, each focusing on a specific aspect of creating and running V5 chronicles: narrative, setting, character creation and NPCs (non-player characters). It even includes practical guidelines for creating Elder characters without overpowering them!
I would highly recommend this guide to Storytellers old and new alike. I've been playing V5 once weekly for around 3 years since I began tabletop gaming back in September 2019. And, to this day, this guide helps me improve my Game Mastering little-by-little.

This V5 Disciplines Compendium is an incredibly useful and easily digestable 24-page reference guide for players and Storytellers alike of the fifth edition of Vampire: The Masquerade. Apart from Thin-Blooded Alchemy, this useful guide describes the pre-requisites, mechanics and effects of each Discipline Power listed in this game thus far, from corebook Powers to supplement Powers.
Each listed Discipline Power is categorised by Discipline Power level in ascending order, from Level 1 to Level 5, and features a simple and direct description of what said power can be used for. Next to said description, each Discipline Power listing also displays page references, detailining which corebook or supplement it originates from. The description sums up the Discipline Power in one or two sentences, making it easy for beginners to learn new Discipline Powers and long-time players and Storytellers to refresh their memory of them.
Certain Discipline Powers known as "Amalgam Powers" may have special pre-requisites, usually requiring Vampire characters to have access to a Discipline unrelated to said Amalgam Power. For example, the Level 2 Protean Amalgam Power known as Viccisitude, which is a signature Power for clan Tzimisce, would require Vampires to have access to the Dominate Discipline at Level 2 minimum.
My only complaint is that, although the descriptions for each Discipline Power are helpfully short and concise, their short descriptions inevitably may leave certain details about certain Disciplines and powers vague for players and Storytellers alike to research themselves. Therefore, I would strongly recommend this Disciplines Compendium as a companion supplement to the corebooks for this game, not as a replacement for said corebooks.

This Starter Set for the sixth and latest edition of Pendragon, an Arthurian tabletop role-playing game, provides players and Game Masters, old and new, with three bountiful sourcebooks: a tutorial-like Solo Quest book (plus a blank character sheet in Page 5), a thorough and concise rules book, and an adventure module book with three sequential scenarios.
I strongly recommend this Starter Set for players and Game Masters whom are new to Pendragon as a whole. The core rules and mechanics for this game are clearly and eloquently described alongside colourful artwork reminiscent of illuminated manuscripts.
I especially recommend this Starter Set to players and Game Masters who enjoyed the initial quick-start scenario titled The Adventure of the Sword Tournament.
If you enjoyed the tutorial-style scenario module that was The Adventure of the Sword Tournament, players and Game Masters can continue their Player-Knights' adventures with the two following scenarios titled The Adventure of the Silver Deer Forest and the Adventure of the Broken Sword.

Helluva Town is a unique dark-comedy roleplaying game which pays homage to various animated cartoons throughout history, from the Looney Tunes and Woody Woodpecker to Cuphead and Hazbin Hotel.
Unlike most tabletop roleplaying game, Helluva Town has a unique gameplay system which uses playing cards instead of dice to determine the stats of characters and the outcomes of their actions.
This game recommends that each player brings their own deck of playing cards (52 minimum) to the table. But this game is flexible in that it allows players to split the same deck between them if needs be.
This corebook for Helluva Town is beautifully designed and illustrations, full of colourfully cartoonish graphics and portraits which are guaranteed to keep new players and Game Masters hooked from beginning to start.
If I had one complaint for this corebook, I wish it had a blank character sheet template for new players and Game Master to fill in for their own characters.

Toonpunk is a zany cyberpunk dark-comedy tabletop role-playing game in which players create and portray cartoonish master criminals striving to prosper in a dystopian world set in the distant dark future of the 24th century.
This second-edition cole rulebook for Toonpunk expressively describes the concept, premise and mechanics of the game in an archaic but printer-friendly black-and-white format. The final two pages of this 210-page rulebook provide both pages of a blank character sheet for players and Game Masters alike to fill in as they please.
Because this rulebook is written in a text-heavy format with minimal images, newcomers to this game may feel daunted by the large amounts of text to read, coupled with the odd tables and illustrations here and there.
Nonetheless, if you are passionate about role-playing classic animated cartoons, from the Looney Tunes to Fritz the Cat, Toonpunk may be just the tabletop role-playing game for you.

Basic Roleplaying: Universal Game Engine is the second edition of Chaosium Inc.'s tabletop gaming system which they have designed and tweaked over the decades for their role-playing games, from Call of Cthulhu to Pendragon.
True to its title, Basic Roleplaying is essentially a toolkit for players and Game Masters alike to customise for their own games, from small-scale one-shot scenarios to full-scale game settings of their own.
Having said that, this second edition of Basic Roleplaying thoroughly covers and describes numerous mechanics which Chaosium Inc. has used for their numerous role-playing games over the past four decades and counting. Therefore, newcomers to this gaming system might feel daunted by the sheer abundance in tweakable content and options.
Nonetheless, if you are a fan or experienced player of Chaosium Inc.'s games and feel aspired to create and/or play customised games using their common system, Basic Roleplaying may be the tabletop gaming system for you!
Otherwise, if you prefer simpler tabletop gaming systems which are more focused on roleplaying than dice rolls and mechanics, you may feel more comfortable with the recently updated FATE Core System by Evil Hat Productions.

FATE Core is an easily accessible, digestible and, most importantly, customisable tabletop role-playing game system which can be used by players and Game Masters alike, both old and new, to create and play any kind of dramatic role-playing scenario imaginable.
FATE Core is essentially a toolbox for creating and playing character-focused, narrative-driven scenarios, from psychological thrillers in the Middle Ages to slice-of-life comedies in futuristic cyberpunk cities!
In my case, I used the FATE Core System to create a modern urban slice-of-life drama scenario which I titled Skateborn. And, after quickly and effectively learning the rules and mechanics of FATE Core in a matter of hours, I was quick to gather a group of two or three online players and flesh out our game within a week.
Because FATE Core was designed to be used as a toolbox for everyone to create their own role-playing scenarios, this core rulebook does not include its own pre-made scenario module. It only includes case examples of in-game scenes, dice rolls and skill checks.
To create and play any game conceivable via FATE Core, all you need is 4d6 dice, a handful of tokens (e.g. poker chips), character sheets and, most importantly, a powerful imagination.
If you're not used to creating or playing narrative-driven scenarios via FATE Core, you may feel more comfortable playing more complex tabletop role-playing games, from Dungeons & Dragons to World of Darkness.
Otherwise, if you enjoy freeform, character-focused role-playing with little to no dice rolls, FATE Core might be the tabletop game system for you!

The Adventure of the Sword Tournament is an easily digestible yet somewhat vague quick-start scenario for the sixth and latest edition of Pendragon, a medieval low-fantasy tabletop role-playing game inspired by Arthurian mythology.
The first 9 pages of this quick-start module explain the rules and mechanics of this game in an easily digestible and referable layout. It immediately introduces the character sheet mechanics (e.g. Characteristics, Traits, Skills, etc.) and details what they mean, what they are used for and how they can be adjusted.
The next 9 pages detail the overall flow of The Adventure of the Sword Tounrmanet scenario, from arriving at the in-game city of Londinium to participating in the eponymous Sword Tournament (i.e. a full-scale mock battle).
The remaining pages provide a list of dice roll tables, non-player character (NPC) blocks and pre-generated characters to use as examples.
Unfortunately, this quick-start lacks a blank character sheet for others to fill in. This may be due to this quick-start module's emphasis on pre-generated characters.

Mixing Drinks, Changing Lives is a delightful surprise crossover supplement for the sci-fi tabletop role-playing game titled Cyberpunk RED which ties in with the popular cyberpunk indie visual novel titled VA-11 HALL-A.
Despite being written and published in the style of an alternative universe (AU) tie-in with VA-11 HALL-A, this Cyberpunk RED supplement allows players and fans of both games to integrate elements and characters from the indie visual novel with the popular tabletop role-playing game.
This supplement consists of 20 pages of clear and concise info on how the characters, technologies and other elements from VA-11 HALL-A can be used in Cyberpunk RED missions.
Most notably, after the first four pages of introduction, this supplement provides ready-made character sheets of the main characters from VA-11 HALL-A, from protagonist bartender Jill Stingray as a Tech to fan-favourite NPC (non-player character) "Streaming-chan" as a Rockerboy.
This supplement even includes info on Hammered Industries, the manufacturers of the Drink Master 5000 machine, as an optional Megacorps, along with instructions on how to operate said machine to mix all kinds of drinks and, of course, change people's lives.
If you are a huge fan of the cyberpunk genre, regardless of whether or not you have played Cyberpunk RED and/or VA-11 HALL-A before, I strongly recommend this supplement to players and Game Masters alike.

True to its title, the Book of CYBERPUNK Tables is a useful homebrew supplement containing various tables full of prompts for new ideas to add to your Cyberpunk games and its aspects, from characters and factions to locations and sub-locations!
If you're an avid player and/or fan of the Cyberpunk franchise and feel the need to generate new ideas to populate your in-game world(s), the Book of CYBERPUNK Tables is the supplement for you!
Best of all, this supplement and its prompts are easily tweakable and transferable to other games as well as Cyberpunk RED and previous editions. In other words, even if you have never played nor created a Cyberpunk game before, you can nonetheless generate new ideas from this supplement's tables for other games if necessary.

"Woof! Dogfolk Races" is a charming, accessible and reasonably-priced series of homebrew player races for the fifth and most recent edition of the popular tabletop fantasy role-playing game known as Dungeons and Dragons.
The Retrieverkin are a gentle yet sturdy sub-race of dogfolk heavily based on labrador retriever dogs and their friendly temperaments.
This sub-race of dogfolk and its aspects are clearly explained in a simple, user-friendly PDF document (viewable via Adobe Acrobat and similar programs) which is only about four pages long.
The first page introduces the concept and origins of dogfolk as a whole as well as what makes retrieverkin unique.
The second page includes a short list of pre-set forenames and surnames for retrieverkind, male, female and otherwise.
The third page lists all racial traits and abilities which come with the retrieverkin sub-race of dogfolk, namely ability score increases, walking speed, language proficiencies and unique abilities.
And the fourth and final page briefly details a shorter-haired variant of retrieverkin known as the "labran" and their differing abilities.
Personally, I'm truly grateful for these homebrew player sub-races to have been made as a canine counterpart to the feline tabaxi. I especially like how both the retrieverkin and poodlemen sub-races were faithfully based on their real-life feral counterparts.
My only complaint is that I wish all dogfolk races shared an increase in the Wisdom ability score to facilitate their superior senses of smell and hearing.
Apart from that, I consider "Woof! Dogfolk Races" to be a delightfully accessible homebrew race best-suited for dog enthusiasts and animal lovers alike!

New York Maps for Vampire: the Masquerade is actually what it sounds like: an incredibly detailed and versatile pack of 16 maps of New York City made specifically to be used by players and Storytellers alike for their World of Darkness chronicles.
These maps clearly and effectively detail the numerous boroughs, districts, streets, landmarks and key establishments in New York City, from Times Square in West Midtown Manhattan to Jackson Heights in Northwest Queens. And, by "key establishments", I mean religious centres, hospitals, blood banks, lighthouses, cemeteries and natural parks and spaces.
These maps were originally made for an original Vampire: The Masquerade chronicle called The Last Tower. However, I'm certain that these maps can be tailored to your heart's content whenever and however necessary.
After enjoying playing through the New York Bundle of visual novels (i.e. Coteries and Shadows of New York) which I bought at a discount from Nintendo eShop, I felt inspired to write my own characters and/or chronicles based on New York City. Therefore, I'm truly grateful for these maps to have been made and sold here in the Storytellers Vault. Thank you very much!
My only complaint is that the high-resolution PNG maps are compressed in a RAR file which I had to unzip using a third-party file archiver software. Thankfully, I was able to find a simple and accessible open-source freeware called 7-Zip which was compatible with my computer and safe to use.

BECOMING is a quick, fun and accessible character creation supplement for the fifth and latest edition of Vampire: The Masquerade. It encourages players and Storytellers alike to roll d10 dice for up to 17 varied tables (e.g. clan, predator type, sire, embrace, touchstones, upbringing, occupation, hobbies, values, etc.) and record their results in a very useful character story worksheet as they see fit.
Thus, just like with the "Designing NPCs (Non-Player Characters)" section in the Dungeon Master's Guide and/or the "This is Your Life" section in Xanathar's Guide to Everything, both of which are rulebooks for the fifth and latest edition of Dungeons and Dragons, BECOMING is a near-perfect supplement for quickly creating and/or fleshing out your characters!
Whether you decide to randomly roll your characters' aspects or handpick them from the tables included is entirely up to you. You can even do a bit of both if necessary! For example, you could roll a d10 for only one aspect of your character and handpick all the rest or vice-versa.
Best of all, this supplement comes in A4 size so you can easily print out any and all necessary sheets to take with you anywhere at anytime if needs be! My only complaint is that I wish this supplement came with a more printer-friendly version without the colourful and elaborate illustrated backgrounds thus allowing you to save a lot of printer ink.

Call to Lineage is an intriguingly insightful series of 36 homebrew loresheets for the fifth and latest edition of Vampire: The Masquerade, all of them reimagining both fictional and non-fictional historical figures throughout human history (e.g. Dracula, Balthazar, Odin, Sobek, Baba Yaga, etc.) and allowing players and Storytellers alike to give their in-game characters connections to said figures. Each loresheet contains up to five homebrew backgrounds related to certain characters with dots ranging from a minimum of one to a maximum of five.
Personally, I bought this loresheet pack specifically to access loresheets related to Christof Romuald. the heroic Brujah elder protagonist of Vampire: the Masquerade - Redemption, the very first World of Darkness video game, and my favourite Vampire: The Masquerade character of all time. But I was also intrigued to find loresheets for other famous mythological figures such as Dracula, Odin, Sobek and Baba Yaga.
Most importantly, despite currently only being interested in one third of the loresheets available in the pack (i.e. 12 out of 36), I believe this pack was reasonably priced. In the UK, this loresheet pack is on sale for a minimum price of £6.89. Divide that price by the number of loresheets available (i.e. 36 loresheets) and you'll find that each loresheet costs roughly a mere 19p. Personally, I think that's one hell of a bargain!
So, if you're a player and/or Storyteller of Vampire: The Masquerade (5th edition) and you're looking to relate your characters and/or chronicles to historical figures in the World of Darkness, I strongly recommend this pack of loresheets to you! Even if not all of the loresheets pique your interest(s), I guarantee that you won't be disappointed!

Thank you so much for your kind (and thorough) review. I hope that you get some good use out of the loresheets and have the chance to make the most of them.
I'm also glad to hear that some of the other loresheets for characters have peaked your interest beyond Christof (as fantastic as a character Christof is), though do similarly hope that the Christof loresheets gets to see some proper use.

Storyteller Resources is a 31-page book of cheat sheets, tables and quick references to the mechanics in the fifth edition of Vampire: The Masquerade (also known as V5). As its title implies, it's a resource book made specifically to help Storytellers prepare and run their own games of V5, from one-shot sessions to full-length chronicles, as smoothly as possible.
The book begins with a tabletop RPG consent checklist you can use to list any and all sensitive themes in your game (e.g. violence, sex, discrimination, etc.) and note which themes your players will be comfortable and/or uncomfortable with. For example, some players will be used to explicit violence and death but will be opposed to torture and/or sexual assault which is understandable. This checklist is useful to establish everyone's boundaries and make sure that your game doesn't deeply upset and/or offend your players.
The rest of the book features a checklist for player character creation and quick references to character Backgrounds, clan Banes and Compulsions, blood Resonances, Predator Types, Discipline powers, Blood Sorcery rituals, Oblivion ceremonies, loresheets and bloodlines. All of this can be useful to look up the rules of certain mechanics without having to refer to a certain sourcebook.
Finally, this book also contains a couple of sheets to track your player characters' stats (e.g. Health, Willpower, Hunger, Humanity, etc.) and relationships as well as their coterie's domain stats (e.g. Chasse, Lien, Portillon, etc.), haven stats (e.g. dots and Backgrounds) and Chronicle Tenets. This can be helpful to make sure that you're paying attention to your players' characters and their actions.
Personally, I'm very grateful for this book to have been made, especially in a printable format, because it helps Storytellers of all levels of experience keep up-to-date with the rules of V5 and the stats of your players' characters. Furthermore, I think this book is reasonably sized with each category of mechanics (e.g. physical combat, social combat, etc.) being written on one page.
My only complaint is that some of the pages (e.g. the consent checklist, the tracking sheets, etc.) were edited in landscape format, meaning that you have to tilt your head sideways by 90 degrees just to read it on a computer screen. Thankfully, you can get around this problem by printing out these pages, turning them sideways and filling them in at your own pleasure. Still, it would've been nice if the non-printer friendly version of this book was formatted consistently.
