Fate Core System

I think I bought this twice perhaps. At first I probably paid $0 but have since come back and paid $20 for PDF. If my fledgling Firefly campaign goes anywhere, I may buy the hardback! Just the Game Creation and Character Creation process so far has been WONDERFUL!!! I have moved from old school D&D, Top Secret and Star Frontiers (TSR games with systems) to D20, GURPS and more recently Savage Worlds in an attempt to find a simple system that enables fun role-playing across a wide variety of genres. Fate seems like it will be my next volatile change that will make my players moan but inevitably they will be glad because it opens SOOOO many doors to creativity.

Great job Evil Hat Productions! I wish I had access to this stuff 20-30 years ago when I had more free time to play.

Achtung! Cthulhu: Three Kings - Savage Worlds

I have read less than half the adventure and haven't ran it yet. In fact, my players may NEVER play it since they tire of my constantly pushing new, unique RPG stuff on them. However...this is REALLY well written and compelling stuff! The amount of research or knowledge of WWII is impressive. Granted I know little but it really feels like a historically accurate compilation. Of course the Cthulhu stuff is fictional!

I have only recently discovered Cthulhu and really like the emphasis on backstory in the genre but this goes above and beyond.

Nice job guys. I sincerely hope I get the excuse to buy more of your material.

Old School Fantasy #1: A Keg for Dragon (Savage Worlds Edition)

Just started running this adventure tonight. I have ran a Hellfrost adventure before and those players did not like it. I ran the SW Test Drive with these players and they liked it but wanted to try fantasy since that is what they have played the most of (Pathfinder) before.

After this session, the definitely wanted to continue on. We used pregens and ran this adventure with little prep and REALLY enjoyed it. It really felt like some of best non-dungeon crawl D&D adventures I have run in the past. Enough background to give it validity but still plenty of goblins to bash around.

For $5 this is a STEAL!!!

I look forward to running #2.

Pretty good so far. My players started doing Pinebox adventures "Skinwalker" and loved it for its investigation and full backstory. Same thing here. Tons of details in this adventure that are typically left out of combat heavy horror.

Tonight the heroes save the day or see the beginning of the second flood!
