Quite possibly the most useful and beautiful PDF ever created for gaming, and the setting/genre is something something desperately need for the Fate rules.

Sivervine Games If you have ever wanted complete control over what you will be in a game, this is the game for you. The default setting is an Anime/Steampunk/Fantasy hybrid that allows anything you can think of. The system is very simple and allows for unlimited customization.

Mage: The Ascension (revised) Quickstart rules... Why did White Wolf do this? This game is amazing? And it has nothing to with the final product. They did the same thing for 1e Exalted. They create a Quickstart rules that surprised me with its innovative attitude, simple rules, and elegant design. And then they create a "Full" version that uses an entirely different rules system.

If you want to play a "Mage" I recommend just getting this and hacking it a bit. I know I will be be working a hack of this, just like how people have created Quixalted for the Exalted game (based off of the Exalted Quickstart rules).
