The maps look great and hare incredibly detailed, but to be honest I can't read what terrain is what. Is that a forest, or hills? Is it farmland or mixed forest? Incredibly frustrating. I can't give 5 stars to a map I have trouble reading.

Practically every Harnworld / Harnmaster gamer and Gamemaster has at least one of these maps in hardcopy. This iconic regional map covers the entire island of Harn and the surrounding smaller islands. Cities, settlements, countries and natural features are listed, along with locations of interest such as Gargun (Harnic orc) lairs, enigmatic ancient Earthmaster sites such as Telumar, Ridow, and so on. Terrain features, rivers, lakes, mountains, swamps and so on are displayed.

This electronic map has two advantages over the printed version: it is zoomable, and there are no worries about it getting torn or damaged by coffee stains. This is offset by the disadvantage that you cannot lay it out on a table like one of the printed maps.

Nonetheless, this amazing map is the best start for any games or Gamemaster wanting to enter the world of Harn.

The Harn PDFS are so convienent in a hectic life, they allow me to bring my table or laptop wherever I go instead of tons of books and still have what I need to run or play my game. The harn map is a worthy resource for Harn or other games. Need a campaign map for Battletech Here you go, need a instant location for your world hopping team. Done. And if you are interested in a high quality game setting for Fantasy RP, Harn is one of the best and most consistent game settings around. High quality work and maps that beat every other company years ago, and are still top line today. The map magnifies to about 450 percent before I see any image degradation and is still usuable to around 600 percent. As a pdf it does not bend, crease or get coffee stains and for right now its free. Even at the normal 10 bucks its a grand deal.

This detailed map of "Misty Isle" is both beautiful and informative. Grid and hex based calculation is available and many of the grid squares are further detailed in separately sold files. There's also separately sold HarnDex document, where most of the markings on the map are explained. And whether you go deeper in world of Harn or not, this is still a great map.

Even at 800% zoom I get readable resolution on a highly detailed map. Harn didn't disappointment in the 80's when I bought the hard copies, and the PDF doesn't diappoint in the 21st century.

I owned a few of the Harn books and used them for years as drop in items for my own world. But this map of the complete Harn just puts anything I have ever done to shame. It is a very nice, clear map of the complete island. I can zoom in to 300% to get a tight shot of an area or zoom out to show the whole thing. Thank you for this high quality map.

A high-quality digital version of one of the landmarks of fantasy cartography. I've been drooling over this map since I was a kid, and it hasn't lost any of its power over me.

I love the Harn map - I have been using it for various role playing games since it was first published. Having it online is a bonus - now I can project the map, or a portion of it on my big screen TV, which makes the game more dynamic and saves on paper.
