Although a nice idea, the adventure does seem a bit silly and disjointed. I appreciate that some may enjoy this but it was not for me. Not a complaint about tavernmaster games as their products I generally love, but not their best adventure. It is a good background for a powerful, insane family so may be useful for you to place them in your adventures.
I haven't actually run a T&T game in years, but I still collect interesting things for it. I picked this up this afternoon and read through it. With a few modifications, it will fit nicely in a 5E steampunk/magitech game I recently started. The players haven't yet figured out how serious this campaign is going to be, and this little affair should keep them guessing a little longer! The scenario is fun but the art is primitive.
If you're looking for a seemingly normal adventure with some very bizarre antagonists, this is the adventure for you. I had to read it twice to process it. It's definitely not for everyone, but if your players don't mind disturbing monsters, give it a shot.
