This is great for DMs looking for something with a bit more character than a green vinyl battlemat, and those who want something cheaper, ( both in initial cost & ink), than the more detailed tile kits. Like most DMs, I like to create dungeons in my head first, then make a map to fit my ideas. This kit allows a DM to quickly and cheaply create any type of dungeon floorplan, without the limitations of the other kits. Or, you can just print out a whole wack, and use that as your battlemat replacement.

Definitely try printing on cereal/cracker boxes... awesome texture! Very natural-looking with very little ink or time expended.

Next series should include more natural grids, such as cave floors.

Good for lazy DMs. You can even custom colour the B&W versions to suit specific clothing/hair colours. Slightly comic-ish artwork, which actually looks good on a tiny figure.
