Mallavray's Magnificent Manual of Magical Marvels
by A customer [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 02/17/2017 11:17:11

First off, I have to say that I love the magic items in this "magnificent manual." They are all well thought out and useful in their own right. Some are humorous, others are dangerous and even more are actually very useful! I had just recently acquired the Grande Temple of Jing for Pathfinder which is a mega dungeon run by the Trickster god Jing. Many of these items are going to be perfect additions to that module! Regardless of what kind of campaign you run, there will be several items in here that will be of use to you as a GM. Plus, they are very unique and unlike anything you will find elsewhere. It was definitely worth the purchase price!

Exactly what I needed! The people I play with like to think out of the box and like mind benders. Many items fit perfectly into my settings.

Sometimes they're extremely powerful with a massive catch, some are useless and some fit for only one purpose. I let the player decide which is which :)

Thanks TDP for a refreshing approach to Pathfinder!

In my games I prefer to use magic items with a rich history and descriptions full of flavor. Not outright powerful, but elegant, consistent, interesting and useful.

Considering the desciption of this book I expected to find some of that kind of items. I was wrong.

In fact I did not find a single useful item in this book, not even an idea to use in my games. I can only consider almost all presented items as outright useless - a good part of them cursed or fun-items called "pranks", that are not even slightly funny.

Perhaps three or four items might indeed be used in game, but their usefulness is restricted to very special situations or circumstances.

A book full of almost completely unnecessary and uninteresting items I would not even spend a single buck for.
