Another excellent entry on the series. Having a sandbox playstyle makes the world feel fuller and flavourful, and gives so much opportunity for replayability.

At some points the story thrusts you forward to the next location. It's a bit jarring to not be able to go back and explore more, but it's probably necessary or else I'd just spent my entire time exploring the map until my character ran out of HP.

Easy 5/5 stars. Love your work Paul, I'm super excited for the next one.

Just a great story, enough to hook your players and plenty of room for customization. The module is laid out beautifully, so prep is so quick and easy. My players had a great time! And on top of all that, it's free?? What a gift!

I hope you like some cosmic emotional rollercoaster with eldritch monstrosities, secret cults, and some surprise revelations about family drama. Having a rich and d&d lore, highly tacticle combat and some interesting NPC's. This is the adventure for you. Good episode. Warning of family drama, and eldritch horror.

I've been planning a Curse of Strahd campaign for about a month now, and decided to use both Reddit and YouTube to find some help on things. One of the main things was the Tarokka reading itself. I wasn't personally fond of the entire randomness in the book itself, and when I came across this guide on YouTube I had to pick up to the pdf.

It's a nice, simple, pdf that explains the method quite easily, and allows you to customise the decks as you wish. Through using this I managed to do a few test draws and I have loved each one. This is definitely worth a purchase for anyone planning on running Curse of Strahd.

Awesome adventure that themed around grief, love, legacy, and becoming more than what was intended for you. It features more roleplay, puzzle and exploration elements than the previous episode. It is heavier on the dungeons and dragons lore, so don't worry about not understanding the significance if you are new to dungeons and dragons. Other than that, i hope you like a dungeon crawl and roleplaying.

Played with friends it was great! A lot of attention to detail for such an affordable game. We played as level 1 characters and played through the seasons. Would recommend as any one shot (3-6 hrs) and would be good for beginners. We've played a few campaigns so the seasons and non-traditional dnd was really fun and refreshing for us
