I am very happy with my purchase.
All files except for one, which was fixed in < 12 hr after I made the creator aware of the issue, printed with no issues. Note that part of the blame here is with the Elegoo Cuda software. When I used the the Orca Slicer to generate the gcode it printed with no issues.
The prints look great and fit together well. I think the four statue options (dragon w/ and w/o 'waterfall', toad, and Cthulhu) make it is a good value. I haven't tried out the option to use my phone with video in lieu of the insert, but I can't wait to spring it on my players.

This is by far the best map for The Portal Under the Stars adventure. The artwork is beautiful. It prints out very clear. And the isometric map is a great visual aid for players. This is a must have if you're going to run Portal Under the Stars.

Perfect! This was exactly what I was looking for to create a custom sewer battle map for some upcoming fights. Beautiful art!

This was a learning experience. I purchased a printed version of this set along with a castle set from the same company, expecting a high-quality print on reasonably thick cardstock. The print job was great, but the tiles came on thin, warping photo paper. The description says they are coated in a layer that allows dry-erase markers, but I'm skeptical of that claim and won't test it out. One of the tiles already had a small scratch on it, so I'm not sure how well they will hold up once I place miniatures on them. In fact, I don't know if I will ever use these tiles given they do not lay flat on the table.
I would mount them on cardstock but given they are double-sided, that would defeat the purpose. My suggestion is to buy the PDF instead and print them out yourself. It will cost more money in terms of the ink and paper you use, but you can at least mount them and get a higher-quality product.

Hello, thank you for your review!
If you received damaged or warped pieces please contact DriveThruRPG customer support and they will probably solve this problem for you by sending you another copy or money back.
Unfortunately, we as a publisher here have no sight of what is happening in the print shop, printed tiles and books are the services of DriveThruRPG and we cannot see or manage anything as a publisher here on the site. If I had any influence I would give your money back and send the digital files to you, but I'm sure they will try to solve this problem for you, too.
I hope it helps a bit and you will enjoy the art of the areas we created.
Sincerely,
Antal Kéninger

I have bought and printed most of Black Scrolls 3D models - all of them are excellent work and the company is always responsive to release updates and fixes. Great products, great company, buy their stuff - you will be satisfied!

Nice models,
had some trouble with the Primitive model's spear breaking, -my fault, not enough supports.
Painted them ready to be mounted on wodden book ends.
They are well worth buying as the detail is fantastic.
If I can figure out how to insert a local pic I will add it later.

Wow! I was looking for some VTT tiles for my Roll20 game. I bought the Castle Modular Maps and I am very, very pleased. These are beautiful! I love how that there are furnished rooms and unfurnished rooms. I can't say enough about these beautiful tiles. These are perfect. Great value, too.

Beautifully rendered battlemaps in both print at home (as tiles) and VTT formats as well as a really nice isometric map that can be used in VTT or a program like Zoom where you can share your screen for an extra visual aide. I printed mine on card stock and laminated them and they came out really nice. A+ product and for less than 8 bucks for the digital version it's a steal. Highly reccomended!

I can't rave enough about these tile sets! The versatility is genius and the designs are gorgeous. My players throughougly enjoy playing with them and really help bring my campaign to life.
I purchased the digital set and opted to print and laminate them myself. I love that I can print various sides back to back if I need more ocean or beach, and create a new scene each time I use them. The night version is awesome too - I haven't used those yet but I appreciate having them as an option. The price point is also excellent compared to other battle mat or tile sets that I have seen (plus it's nice to be able to use dry-erase markers on them compared to some other boxed tile sets that don't allow that option.)

This battlemat was exactly what I was looking for my ocean-themed campaign. I love the details, multi-level mat feature, and the reverse option for Ghost ship. My players went nuts over this!
I purchased the digital version and opted to print and laminate the pieces myself. Mirroring the ghost pieces to the pirate ship wasn't difficult, but the images aren't perfectly mirrored - there is the tiniest bit of white space around the edges of the ship. It would be cool if the upper levels of the mat had ocean around just the immediate edge of the boat so that the levels blend a bit better when laid on top. That's pretty picky because overall I love this mat and look forward to using it again and again!

Tiles feel very nice, easy to clean, lots of variety and looks great on the table. Only downside is the edges area little prone to fraying or splitting, but about the same as a standard TCG card (althought the tiles are much thicker). Highly recommended.

These are awesome tiles. Very similar to the PathFinder FlipTiles in size and quality. The value for the price is what puts this at 5 stars. So many different options for roads, fields, and houses. I actually prefer the graphics over the PathFinder Tiles. After purchasing, they arrived within a week in the mail and were in top condition. Wet erase marker comes right off as well.

I tried this out and loved it. I got the digital version of the docks (plus the city one) and cobbled together my map for the next game session. Am buying the moat one today so I can set up the next encounter, further down the river.
What made these especially cool was the inclusion of a generous helping on PNG overlays to customize the map. So nice to have ones that blend so seamlessly with the rest of the artwork! I was also surprised at how much i liked the inclusion of "draft tiles". They include a PDF of mini, black and white versions of the tiles so that you can mess around with them an design a smaller version of your map ahead of time.
I get the sense that the Black Scrolls people "get it" and have streamlined many of things that frustrate a non-artist like me when preparing my battle maps. I will definitly be looking at their other stuff for future encounters.

bought a lot of products from this talented author, sadly in this set floors are very strange, texture not really proportional to rest of elements... and so needed png stuff elements not included :(

A beautiful battlemap for the DCC funnel by the same name.
And while it is very beautiful, I have a few critiques that would improve it's at table play:
- There is a PDF with the map broken into different pages for the top-down view, but not the isometric view. It would be nice to have the isometric view broken into similar pages as well.
- Only Room 3's Statue is provided, which causes other entities (like Room 2's statues) to really standout. It would have been nice to at least have Room 2's statues for visual consistency.
- Room 3's Statue is placed statically on the map.
- It would have been nice if Room 6 had a variant with an empty pool
Overall, it's a beautiful battlemap but sadly, for it's price point, I would not recommend it.
