It's fine for what it is-just two long columns with names and their meaning. The only thing I wish is that is that the feminine names started on the top of the next page. Will be using for Cthulhu Dark Ages so it'll do its job generally speaking.

2 pages. No map. A tavern. A potion shop. Move along. Nothing to see here. Overpriced.

I appreciate a good list of names. Names with their meanings? That ... is excellence!

I thought this product was a waste, even at a discounted price, first it just two pages of text and it needs a map, it even reads like there is a map for it, somewhere, but alas no map. The very least you could do is recommend using it in conjunction with say Judges Guilds Village book series. This village has a population of 60, it’s not on a well-traveled road, but of the three business listed one is a brothel, with a population of 60, you have to figure that’s what 30 men in town, if there are no kids, lean pickings for the oldest profession. It’s just lazy writing.

The description are very rudimentary, and at 100 of them with no maps, just serves as a list of 100 keep names.

Names are repetative and some are duplicated. The title page is non-sensical gibberish. I would not recommend this product.

The product sells you exactly what it says it does: a bit more then 350 names fitting for vikings and "northeners", in alphabetical order. While the cover looks nice, the following pages are plain white with two columns of 50 names each placed on them.
For about a bug, the products saves you a lot of time you would need to spend on the internet to gather the names yourself. If you need nordic sounding, male first names, go for it!

Some pages did not display properly. In addition to this annoying technical problem, many of the names (a significant portion) were just greek spellings of other names, such as Hebrew names, which is simply not helpful to me at all if I'm looking for greek names.

This is a very poor product. What you get is just the text you see in the sample file, arranged nine "cards" to a page. There are no graphics at all, not even any card backs. There are no instructions on how you are supposed to use these cards. Worst of all there are no cutting guide marks to show where to cut to turn a page into nine cards, so you can look forward to a lot of measuring and estimating and unevenly sized cards.
There are some good ideas on some of these objective cards, but some I'm not so sure have been playtested for balance.
This isn't the most expensive product, but if you're going to sell something describing it as a deck of cards, a buyer is going to expect a certain minimum of features - cutting marks and card backs as an absolute minimum. What you've got here is just a list of ideas for objective cards, not in any usable form. With the amount of work I'm going to have to put in to turn this into an actual usable deck of cards, I don't believe this product is worth... well anything really. If it was turned into a proper print-your-own card deck with card backs, guidelines and instructions - it might be worthwhile.
Save your money. Look at the sample file, trawl the web for other battle objective ideas, then fire up your word processor and make your own cards.

This is the printer friendly version of the cards i put up so people could try them out before the actual print on demand cards are available. The POD cards will be available in a week or so when I get the proofs and can green light them for sale. as for instruction print them out on cardstock and put them in card sleeves. Use them however you deem appropriate for your games. One card for 100 points for Gruntz or 500 points for 40k or whatever you want to use them for. |

I like the idea of this and for 50 cents it's not bad. It gives the names and descriptions of the medications. I'd like to see an expanded version (for a higher price) which includes the use , side effects, cost, where found etc. Some game value as is - Good potential

This product delivered exactly what it promised - 100 names for exotic materials. I would have preferred it to include at least a brief description of the material and perhaps a suggestion of what it could be used for. A good idea, and OK for 50 cents I suppose, but I would be interested in paying more for a book containing details - descriptions, properties, where found, use, and maybe even legendary items made of the material. It has little game value as is, but good potential.
