Pickled Piracy and Other Stories
by Jazmin O. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 06/13/2019 00:10:34

I ran this for my first pirate session for a Freeport Pirates game, for the Pathfinder ruleset. My players generally liked it really well (even though I accidentally skipped over the Merchant encounter). The entire play through, without the merchant encounter was about 2 hours-my general session is about 3 hours, and they're really heavy roleplayers, so there wasn't any combat; for my players at least.

They even took Sea Hogg as a pet. They enjoyed the "non-standard" start to the campaign.

The Pony of Your Dreams
by CaraLee H. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 06/02/2017 12:49:33

I ran this adventure with my husband and our two kiddos, ages 7 and 9. I admit I chose this one because it was free and I wanted to get a feel for the world before investing. I adapted the story to fit into the My Little Pony RPG book that just released so much of the Pathfinder information was not used. I found the storyline to be well thought out and gave enough details to keep the GM informed but left enough room for a good GM to add to the story, tweek, change, etc. based on her group. I was a bit furstrated as the first download I had printed did not have all the information I needed to run the adventure. It was missing a 'rumor table' but it was in the other download that came with the purchase so if you find you are missing elements from one download, try the other. I was a little frustrated with having to go back and forth to find information that was key to move the story along however that could just be my personal level of inpatience. Some ideas were missing, like why did the other original towns keep sinking? What did the Mayor want to accomplish by bringing in the cultists / Mara in the first place? The outline isn't what I'm used to but I figured it out, perhaps I missed something that would answer the questions I had to make up answers to. Overall, it was a fun adventure and I was able to ad-lib where needed. The family enjoyed it, it took us two afternoons to finish it. About 8 hours. It could easily take a more experienced group much longer depending on how throughly they look over the town, or less if they just get to the point. I look forward to using the other adventures in this series.

This is one of the best and funniest little adventures Ive ever seen on Drivethru. Very well done, and as I read thru it, I was automatically placing how I would integrate this into my world/game. Within hours of reading this awesome adventure I added Potwallow to my world map! 5 Stars, Deff Check this out!

A Meal fit for A King
by George C. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 02/21/2017 04:43:38

Honestly, this isn't very good. The writing is unimaginative and the style reminds me of how teenagers write when they are tasked with assignments at school. Saying that, it could be worse.

Beer of the Gods

Freaking HILARIOUS. 10/10 would 10 again. Suggestion: If you are a DM and want to get your players more enguaged and the room is big enough, have everyone pick up their D6 and actually act out the drunken stupor from what they roll for the room that the Kettle is in.

A World Gone Mad
by Ben S. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 10/23/2015 18:08:26

A very detailed description of a mad house populated by super beings. It's not for every game, but if you're looking for something like it, it's an excellent resource.

The Last Princess
by Nicole D. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 08/22/2014 06:29:51

I was looking for something to get my players back into the swing of game after a long hiatus. This was perfect! The NPCs are amusing and confounding, and the story was interesting without being exhaustive on details and puzzles. This campaign is great if you want to do a one-shot fun game night, or if your players need a comedic diversion from a long running campaign.
