So I used this adventure in reverse: to get my son from Rivenshore to Bayhaven (or the equivalents in my campaign). It was great-we both loved the combination of goblin adventure fighting and problem solving. My son is playing a ranger/hunter on a long quest and has one really creative burst per game (usually). Playing this one he decided to use a horn and summon some animal allies, who helped defeat the goblins and kept watch over the party for the rest of the adventure.

The maps are solid, the layout is good. As per usual, Hero Kids delivers with a really great adventure that adds to the series. I love these adventures, and so does my son.

Just ran this Hero Kids Compatible game with my 5yo niece. (You need the Hero Kids Base Game, which is pretty cheap.) Her warlock and her wolf Lewis only just managed to defeat the Sugar Plum Fairy and her enchanted creatures, and just in time for bed!

This is the first Hero Kids Compatible game we've played, and it was thoroughly enjoyed by both of us. It's the first time we've used pets, too, though we just ran it as her second character.

(I've found a way to really easily and effectively get the character tokens to stand up and stay, too. Double sided foam pads keep them perfectly attached!)
