Dragon Christmas Card Kits
by Ambient I. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 12/12/2002 00:00:00

I just got back from my local business depot where they printed out three of each of the dragons (the red and the frost) onto a nice light card stock. This weekend I'm handing them out to my family with a pair of scissors in the envelope and letting the kids have fun assembling them- a great activity while we get our holiday brunch together. FANTASTIC idea, and a great way to give out a holiday card that says "I'm a big gamer geek."

Dragon Christmas Card Kits

These are really cool. I'm building a bunch of these to send out as my Christmas cards this year, since I can put one together in about 20 minutes, fold it flat and stuff it in an envelope. The art is great, and they look great.

The Guard Tower
by Matt D. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 11/01/2002 00:00:00

The Guard Tower is fabulous. It's absolutely gorgeous. The illustration inside is meticulous, and the tower took a huge amount of attention to detail to design. The design is mind-blowing, and will have you scratching your head and asking, 'how did he come up with this?' It rocks on toast.

My only gripe would be with the instructions - too brief for me, considering that this is just about the most difficult cardstock model I ever assembled. Worth every minute, though.

If you love paper modeling, and are good at it, you can't go wrong with The Guard Tower, and you'll be happy you got it. If you're new to building paper models, don't start with this one - it's way too hard for a rookie.

A great looking model... but a tough one to assemble.

Pay close attention when building this kit, as the parts are numerous and can be quite tricky to line up. Some slots are missing, which you have to cut yourself, and that can be confusing to new or inexperienced modelers.

While the instructions are brief, they are sufficient. Just pay attention to the numbers, go in order, and test fit everything before you apply glue.
