This is an extremely useful book. It's got first names, surnames, middle names, initialed names, and nicknames for both males and females. I have no idea how many combinations are available, but it's more than you'll ever need, at the very least.

I would have preferred better clarity on the name creation process, and perhaps a bit better organization. As a pdf file, there could easily have been links put in to take you right to the pages you need to reference, based on your die rolls when creating the names.

If you do not have a Wilderness encounter table, you may buy it. There is no meaning which will be purchased if you already have. Except for you doing foolish and enjoying D10000.

Wow! This is great for SF as well as Midevil! It includes tables for generating middle names (and intials), so it works out well when playing Traveller or a dungeon crawl. The pages are somewhat plain, but my printer spitted these out faster than most pdfs I have. The use text shading (not box shading) provides a nice guide for reading the names. Im impressed!

The monster list is killer (organized and well populated) and I liked the weather system presented. I was looking for mining resources (coal, copper, iron, precious metals, gems)and these Wilderness Encounters has some nice info, particularly concerning gems by terrain type. It does not, however, touch on other mineral resources. Overall it's a good buy.

I have Elven and English names and they are great for preparing an adventure. The instructions are easy to follow and the bookmarks in the PDFs make it easy to callup a specific table. I roll up a dozen names before a game and then assigning names during the adventure is a snap!

This product is absolutely superb. It provides you with a superb list of names that are absolutely ideal in a fantasy setting, and is clear, quick and easy to use. It has proven extremely valuable to me, and is a superb source of inspiration. For anyone who wants to create a variety of characters with very individual names, this product is an excellent purchase.
