The first mod i ran way back when. I enjoyed the pacing and the simplicity of this module, no crazy curveballls or dofficult to remember mechanics or crazy branching storylines. I'd reccommend this for any first time DDAL DM.

This is more a review for the physical copy of this, and N4 Treasure Hunt. I'll be honest, when I purchased these two adventures I was expecting a semi-decent PDF copy, with flimsy binding. Needless to say I was greatly impressed by the product. The printing was crystal clear, the binding was actually better than the binding on the original copy I bought back in the day. The cover was a heavy card stock that will hold together for a good while. So, Thanks for Impressing me, and I won't hesitate to purchase the Softcover book in the future.

Love this adventure. I have it as a physical book.

This is my favorite campaign setting of all time. Even reading the novels (especially by Elaine Cunningham) always feels like I'm visiting old friends.
The contents are everything you're looking for, and the maps (especially the fully assembled version) make this a delight. I've actually decided to move my Realms campaign back in time to just before the starting year of the Old Grey Box. I've never liked what they did with 4E moving forward a century, and the 5E version feels like they wanted to reset, but not fully commit.
If this Boxed Set is ever offered as a POD, I'll happily pay for that. The old Boxed Sets are getting far too expensive online, and this would truly be perfect.

A favorite adventure of mine from my favorite AL season. I have both played and ran it multiple times.
It presents a conspiracy/murder mystery, a fun magical event, a variable random combat encounter, and a multimultifaceted skills test showdown/ final combat scene. The magic item reward is flavorful and popular.
Fun and challenging to play, easy to run and embellish as a DM. My only (slight) complaint is that it can be tough to wrap up the module in the 2 hour time frame if you want to include all the good stuff.

Chains of Asmodeus offers some high-level fresh wind in the 5e adventure world, which primarily uses tier 1 and 2 as adventure levels. The plot hook is interesting, the hells are fleshed out and detailed (even though they still need some polishing by the DM, but which adventure doesn't?) and the items and NPCs are vibrant and thematically fitting.
Unfortunately my printed version arrived quite damaged. The edges have been dented and the wrapping is loosend at the damaged areas. This is always a risk with international shipping. but putting more care in the packaging might prevent that. While the page and image quality is quite well, the quality of the bookbinding itself is not entirely up to my expectations considering the price.
I'd still recommend Chains of Asmodeus, but maybe just in its digital version.

Not a big fan of D&D stuff, I find it all too boring and dry. But I like dark elves, and this book gives a lot of information and inspiration about these cuties, and you can easily use it in other games.

Page 53 is missing. How can you make an oversight this massive? This is ridiculous.

This book was pretty interesting. I brought it as a print on demand and I find this service really excellent for all the old books I never purchased when they came out.

Good print quality, however the maps should be like the original, foldout and seperate. not contained withing the book.
Also the cover maps and screens not detachable

Fantastic reprint of this old book and well worth the money and waiting for.
Why have an older copy with issues and missing pages or torn and written in, when you can have a crisp new one for a fraction of the price!
I'm going to keep it for my games and not try and rob the D&D comunity by buying and selling on books just to make a few dollars!
Thanks to the Printers for their hard work.

Excellent. This arrived in Australia in very good condition and is much better than I expected. The format has been cleaned up and I am really happy with it. I've played 2e homebrew since it came out, and this print on demand is just great as my old books are falling apart, and a freshly printed book like this is cheaper and much better than an old ebay copy. Very impressed, keep up the good work.

This is a fantastic starter campaign for learning the setting and getting an better understanding of the kinds of characters and tropes people are looking for in this setting. I do wish there were some pronunciation guides for some of the names, but otherwise it was a blast to play and run.

There's a page containing sheet music for Goldmoon's Song! That's so cool! I have not witnessed music in a module until Dragon's of Despair (:

This is one of the best written modules I've ever read. I learned a ton about running d20 games from RHoD. I've run it twice now in 5e and both of my groups rate it amongst their favorite adventures ever.
