This was unexpectedly great. It's a little bit like Promethean, but actually practical for group play. The system is interesting, and gets out of the way pretty readily.

There is one thing you need to know about this book before you read it: it uses apostrophes to denote plurals. That would normally be only a passing irritant, except that an individual character is an Adam, and throughout the book, that is pluralized "Adam's". As many as 8 times on a single page, according to my search function. If yu're the kind of person who is bothered by that, and I sadly admit to being such, you'll want to make your peace with it early. Don't let that stop you from reading the book, though--it really is worth it.

This title, while only in BETA, needs a LOT of work. It seems to be more like an ALPHA release.

There were a HELL of a lot of grammatical and spelling mistakes, as well as sections that are inconsistent (i.e. skill tables, conflicting information on what you can spend on initial traits).

I believe this game has potential (I am VERY interested to run a game where there are no dice), but it is far from ready for publication.

I would love to have a look at the beta closer to release when many of these problems have been resolved.

It is probably my lack of familiarity with the genre being presented, but I would really appreciate a sample scenario to demonstrate both the milieu and the game mechanics. It probably makes a lot more sense to the guys who developed it and are presumably playing it!

I like the theme and idea of the product. I wish it had included a sample adventure to run instead of reference books and movies to base ideas on. I personally have not had the chance to play it, but sounded interesting to me, my wife, and our son.

Simple, rules lite. The main rules book has 16 pages, 13 of which are the actual book. There are no humans in this game; just aliens. You define your traits (1D6 for each), then define your other traits as specified under the 'other traits' section. Then choose your species, choose 2 species features. Lastly, choose your equipment up to a total bonus of +5. All done.

It also deals with spaceship combat.

The bundle also has a simple character sheet. Death Has a Price (supplement): A background on being a bounty hunter. 15 pages, of which 10 and a bit is the actual book.

Everything is left up to the player(s): background, etc. For the price of £0.66p/$1, it's not bad.

One of the most original rpg concepts Ive had the pleasure of playing. If your looking for something creative and different this is the setting for you!!
