As a longtime BattleTech fan Mecha Force hits the spot. This game is super rules light, and it does the genre well in just a couple pages. It even fixes one oddity of BattleTech. Mecha Force ballistic weapons have the bigger ones out range the smaller one, as it should be. The only change I would make is to add power armor infantry to the game's Conventional Forces.

I've run Strange Magic a couple of times now and I can say I recommend it.
I ran it for my five-year-old recently and he really took to it, so it's option if you're looking to run for children.

The map and illustrations are nice. Unfortunately, the module is not great, everything is bland, the details added on top of the one-page version bring nothing except excessive verbosity. There is no coherent narrative emerging from the dungeon, one could get a similar result by rolling on the fly completely random contents, loot and encounters for each room. The prep effort required to make this module interesting would be roughly equal to the effort required to write a better module from scratch. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but this module was nothing but disappointment for me.

Very good! Succint and portable. At first I thought the representations of the classes were scanty, and then I realized they were instead streamlined and no-nonsense.

This looks like a totally random one-page crawl without any context, but it's a little better than that: the very brief room descriptions show some thought, design, connections... Perfectly servicable.

I found this to be a fun one shot SciFi adventure; reminiscent of Expedition to the Barrier Peaks. Since it's only one page, descriptions are minimal, so you will need to put on your creativity hat to describe things to the other players. It has basic info on equipment, and instead of wasting space to describe new creatures, the author compares them to standard monsters, such as a Magnetobot has the stats of an Adherer.

Written and art by Stuart Robertson, PDF. 6 pages, $1. This does not included a front a cover and a back cover so it is 6 pages of content or 8 pages total.
Designed explicitly for B/X D&D and not a clone this book is designed to be printed at home. The six classes include, Bard, Monk/Assassin, Order of Stellar Reason, Paladin/Anti-Paladin, Reverend Sisterhood, and the Witch.
Each class gets one page. The classes presented here are called "sub-classes" so the Witch is a Cleric sub-class. She would use all the same tables as the cleric does in B/X. She adds her Charisma mod to to her armor class and saving throws (so I would say an aura of protection) and can brew potions. The other classes are similar and could be fun.
For a buck I was not expecting a lot and that is fine. There are certainly some fun ideas here and I am sure I could use them somewhere. It certainly fits into the feel of B/X's simplicity and is similar enough to how BECMI handles "sub-classes."
No OGL, but the execution is simple enough to adapt ideas.

Love this! A great old school style adventure suitable for many forms of play. The map and art are beautiful too!

A pretty nice and straightforward old school dungeon that killed all my players in true OSR fashion!
Don't expect anything new or ground breaking here, but for a price of "pay what you want" you're still getting very good value for your money!
But what really made this dungeon for me is the amazing soundtrack that isn't talked about anywhere here!
Seriously, go check it out! https://heimatderkatastrophe.bandcamp.com/album/hdk-05-the-citadel-of-evil
It makes the dungeon crawling experience so much better!

Love the concept of a pocket size single page printout. The adventure itself is complete with many differant aspects to keep it interesting.....

Il dungeon è semplice e lineare, le stanze non hanno una vera e propria connessione logica fra di loro. Sinceramente mi aspettavo qualcosa di più.

This papaer miniatures are awesome, but maybe if one of the faces were a "back picture", indicating where to is facing the miniature, would be even better! Anyway, thank you!

Thanks Gonzalo! The PWYW set has the same artwork on both sides. Over on my Patreon page at https://www.patreon.com/stuartdraws backers get these miniatures with the back artwork, as well as access to sets before I post them here on DriveThruRPG. |

The core ideas make for a nice, light, mecha game, packed down to a 6 page rulebook. The game could use some scenerios, but is worth the cost. One rules problem, what is the cost of non mecha troops? They are stat blocked and treated like mecha (but can't brawl,) but there is no cost listed for them and they don't fit in the mecha construction rules. As someone with lots of A&A Minis, I would love to have them fight my mechs.
Also if someone could make a excel sheet to make mechs, that would be AWESOME.

I have to add some things but it's easier this way. The game is there and everything I add is fluff. I love it.
