Outcast Silver Raiders: Player's Guide
by Chris M. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 09/22/2023 13:53:48

This is a fantastic game. Isaac and the crew have written something incredible, brutal and fun. I was lucky enough to be a kickstarter backer and all the books for this game are incredible. If you've read this and are buying it I highly recommend getting the Referee's Guide and the Mythic North.

Outcast Silver Raiders: Referee's Compendium
by Alex G. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 07/12/2023 11:24:20

I am a Kickstarter backer. The content is amazing. The flavor, art, and rules all work well together to make a great package. I quite simply have no complaints about the material or content of the product. The reason for my low rating is due to a lack of bookmarks in the PDFs, coupled with the author's refusal to incorporate them. The files are massive with no optimization for screen reading, no pages version (only spreads), character sheets are not form fillable - but there is a hyperlinked table of contents page. The author has stated in their discord server that they think the physical book is the real version of this product. "I see the PDFs as being done. I'm not going to be treating them like software, where there's version control going on. I'm going to treat them like books, where you do the best you can, you send them to the printer, and then later you maybe see a few little mistakes you made or changes you could have done, but didn't, and now it's in print."

If you are fine treating the PDFs as physical books, then go ahead and purchase them. If you are expecting any form of accessability or modern PDF work like the OSE PDFs you will be sorely dissapointed, and I cannot recommend purchasing the PDFs.

EDIT: The author has decided to add bookmarks to the PDFs. As that was pretty much my only issue, I am changing my review to a 5.
