This is a fantastic game! I've been trying to find a game for awhile that lets my players be silly and overpowered without it breaking the game, and this game does just that, while still being satisfying! There are a few things I would like clarity on, particularly cutschenes, but from the discussion section, it looks like those issues are already being adressed. And WOW! Two expansions are avalible! There's so many great ideas in the book for it not being too many pages. It makes fantastic use of the PBTA system. We originally started playing dungeons and dragons, but it was just too much for some of my group members to pick up, and frankly I found it a bit arduous to run (which I understand is part of the appeal for many people, wonderful game, but not for me). However, when we switched to Thrilling Adventures! my players found the narrative first style a lot more intuitive, so if you want a simple, but still fun and rewarding game with an wonderfully pulpy feel, look no further!

Additionally, if you're someone like me who always gets unecessarily stressed about if i'm writing the sort of story the game is made for, you'll find the rule book so helpful. This game gives you plenty of examples, and gives dm's a step by step guide to developing all the important things you'll need to take full advantage of the games mechanics. It is all very clear and concise. It is so helpful, i cannot overstate how much easier it made it to understand not only how to write it, but exactly how this game wants to be used, which also helped me with dming.

This is a fantastically written book. The author did an amazing job capturing the pulp adventure feel of the genre and turned it into a great game!

Such a fun book, well put together, and thought put into the little details. I enjoyed the way RPG's were introduced and in a way that makes them feel inclusive. I've been looking for a way to get a truly pulp feeling out of an RPG. This book does such a nice job of it.

Finally a PbtA game that lets me play Indiana Jones! I have been waiting for this. The author has succeeded in depicting the tropes of pulp adventuring in moves that are sharp and to the point. Very good are the tools for creating the villains. The level of detail increases with the importance of the opponent. The villains get a real personality. When it comes to cannon fodder, you can save yourself a detailed figure description. I especially liked the compact format. I was afraid that 60 pages would be not enough. But the author made it work and even included a little adventure. For comparison: "Cartel" has 162 pages and "KULT Divinity Lost" even 392 pages. Who wants to read so much? Unfortunately, the PDF has no table of contents and no index. Room for improvement here.

Building on the Thrilling Adventures! adaptation of the powered by the apocolypse system, add some classic weird science, mythos horror, or steampunk to your cinematic adventures. Bringing the feel of 1930s pulp, but just as relevant to whatever era you want. Bring your action hero ready to punch evil in the face and get ready to roll some dice to create scenes akin to your favorite movie, dime novel, or nickel comicbook.

This pulp game is based on the powered by the apocolypse system, which is a great framework for the theme. Cinematic adventure awaits as you swing into your favorite action movie genres.
