Negatives: I suspect the art is AI generated and there is a lot of reliance on tropes in naming conventions leading to a lot of the names tables being unusable Positives: Events, crimes, rumors, headlines tables provide interesting food for thought in generating headlines or even story hooks. I bought this for those snippit of idea tables that fuel imagination and many of the tables are more than usable. Price is fair.

I think this is the best "All-in-One" Random Tables product you can get for Sci-Fi settings. One thing I'm missing here is a table for events on planet's surface. There is a Planet Event table, that somewhat covers it, but a lot of outcomes are planet-defining (like toxic atmosphere, ocean planet with some horrific creatures beneath the surface etc.), which is a good thing if you look for a adventure ideas, but not that great if you want to drop a random event on a planet that you've created.

As someone that has done quite a bit of solo RPG delving, with various products and emulators, I would say I am pretty good at discerning what is effective. Alone Against the Spirit Realm is a serviceable emulator, but it is absolutely stellar as a content generator. The vast array of tables for fae, monsters, streets, bars and more are an amazing resource for any solo GM, or really anyone playing in a modern setting. I won't use the emulator aspect, only because I have and am comfortable with Mythic, but that said, it still provides everything you need all in one VERY affordable package.

This book makes it easy to dive into the world of the Dresden Files and experience your own adventures. It also introduces new ways to influence the fate of your character through special events and plot twists. I've already had a few unforgettable adventures with this book, and I'm sure there will be many more to come! I highly recommend it to anyone who loves the Dresden Files and TTRPGs
