Outgunned is fantastic. The art is incredible and pays homage to so many action movies. The rules are simple, yet engaging and it does an excellent job of capturing the feel of cinematic fights. A must have for gamers at a reasonable price.

I backed this on Kickstarter because I love RPGs and my wife loves Indiana Jones.

I finally got a chance to sit down and read through it. It is AMAZING. Everything is well thought-through, well explained (the running examples are the best!), and just so exciting! I cannot wait to direct a campaign for my wife and friends.

I'm sure it won't be long before I'm picking up the rest of the Outgunned content. Bravo!

Best and easiest system out there for people like me with little free time.

Excellent presentation and easy to implement rules to create games inspired by some truly great cinema.

Great John Wick spin-off for Outgunned, new character options and a short campaign included. An awesome addition to the Outgunned universe.

Love this rule system. Adventure lets you play Indiana Jones, The Mummy, Uncharted and Tomb Raider style action adventures. Love this system!

Best Action / Adventure RPG game out there! Totally worth it!

The best pulp adventure RPG out there. While past ones managed to capture the trappings of the genre on paper, this one manages to capture the cinematic action in play as well with easy to read quick rules that encourage players to try daring feats without making them overpowered and always making sure the story moves forward even when the dice don't come up in the most positive way. Highly recommend.

Withholding the Directors Screen for Shits and giggles!

I love this game - the one thing costing you 4 stars is not making the Directors Screen available here. You hassle me by withholding a timesaver. Great Style.

Do you like 90's action movies? Do you like Martial arts movies, City Hunter or John Wick? Do you like simple but not simplitist systems? Are you disapointed by the system of the offical GI joe RPG like I am?

Then Outgunned is for you.!

The point is simple everything pulpy or actionized works with Outgunned, you can make a character in 10 minutes and he will be very solid and effective. The rules are great and have this little thing that does not make them bland. To be clear : you roll attribute+skill D6. You try to do pairs, triples, squares and even 5 of. You can try to improve your roll but if you fail, you loose what you have BUT you have feats that often fibes reroll without risk. That works wonderfully.

ennemies are represetend as a challenge and that works great for action and so the gameplay is fluid.

The art is nice, the structure of the book is excellent, the writing is clear. The PDF is both in ITA and english and so are the fillable character sheets.

Do I have something wrong to say about this game? No.

Great for fast paced action adventures, but as the "Action flicks" supplement shows it has a broader scope than that. If you want to play period drama or clashing kingdoms, with whole kingdoms as characters, then maybe choose FATE. In basically any other case, the Director's cut system helps you tell great, entertaining stories

I was disappointed by this supplement.

To start, the game itself is 5 stars, no question, created the best rpg experiences I have ever had. Buy the game!

But this supplement really did not add much value. I get that it is not a mechanically deep game, but the bestiary really does not add much at all beyond 2 stats (health and difficulty) that anyone with any amount of rpg experience (or the ability to learn from the monsters provided in the core book) would have no trouble coming up with (heck, before buying the book just using the quickstart I created a couple of encounters with comparable complexity to anything in this book).

More interesting are the plants and minerals (which saying plants and minerals are more interesting than monsters kind of says what I thought about the monsters), which is a place I would give the game designers credit in how unique the focus is and on what it does to the worldbuilding.

But even those you are not going to get much use out of unless you have players that are interested in being an apothecary or craftsman and are willing to read the book themselves.

Not a badly made book, but one with disappointingly little use in game.

But again, the game itself is 10/10 perfection!

A "must-have" addition if you're playing Outgunned! Not only does the book manage to capture the essence of the "flicks" it portrays, it's also a treasure trove of examples for those looking to tweak the game to their tastes (read: setting). Just borrow what you like in each genre to make up your own! I mean, Ghost Hunters + Great Powers/Midnight Wars + Killing Aliens = Alan Wake, no? I mean, we all know we shouldn't cross the flicks, but...

Outgunned is one of the smartest RPGs I've ever played. If you're looking for a system that doesn't impede storytelling without sacrificing the rules, and that requires little prep, then Outgunned is probably for you. The whole book is an homage to what action heroes used to be: a celebration of decency, empowerment, and gallantry (to paraphrase John McTiernan). The first and foremost rule of the game is "don't let the rules bully you", and that on top of a system that really favours bold moves and crazy stunts guarantees you'll leave the table with stars in your eyes.
