I love this rule set and I love this setting. The combat in particular is truly some of the most enjoyable I've seen in a TTRPG. It's fast-paced, intuitive, and complex enough to support unique and challenging encounters without becoming arduous or complicated. It's a punishing setting, but with enough cooperation, preparation and determination, an ambitious party can achieve incredible goals... if they're willing to risk a limb (or a hireling) for it!

nah, don't like it. The ideas are great, but the main roll mechanic is overcomplicated. It's a mix of SWADE, WOD and other system ideas, but it's just overkill for "daily basis" rolls.

My history with tabletop gaming is largely based in Games Workshop products, as well as some limited D&D play. I found the D6 pool system to be both familiar and enjoyable, whilst maintaining a level of simplicity that is still engaging and exciting. If I were to develop a dice system, this is how I'd do it! 5 stars.

This seems to be EXACTLY what I've been looking for. after growing bored of how slow and sluggish D20 combat feels, this seems to offer a much more engaging and streamlined system. I'm also a big fan of the historically inspired sword-and-sorcery setting.

An excellent system that allows for quick and brutal action, coupled with intrigue, mystery, horror, and player ambitions.

Such a beautiful book! Amazing art and I love the hidden (and not so hidden) references to actual historical combat techniques. The grim tone and setting gives me vibes of a mix between Warhammer Fantasy and World of Darkness (Dark Ages Vampire mostly). I have really loved reading it and look forward to playing ASAP.

I bought the hardback book and the PDF and am glad I did. I absolutely love the D6 system which is very intuitive and fun to use. Looking forward to running my group through a campaign utilizing this ruleset!

A very interesting new setting that brings a lot of new features that I'm a fan of. All in all a good preview into the system/world I might just be picking up SoP after this.

Gameplay is fun with easy-to-follow rules that only require D6 dice! No D4, D8, D10, D20, etc. is required, which distills combat into a fast-paced, frenetic, and deadly experience. Coupled with a plethora of interesting classes and special traits and anyone can truly find a role in a part that suits their playstyle. Furthermore, it's rich setting is grim, well-researched, and unique; along with fantastic artwork this book is definitely 5 stars!

Easy to pick up and play without long stops to discuss rules. Dark setting is unique and interesting, with characters classes to build off the setting and make interesting stories in the party.
