I really enjoyed the way this adventure was written. It's structured in such an easy way to run and has lots of variety packed into it. I look forward to any future adventures from Wally.

Whether you're a novice or an experienced gamer, WallyDm creates the most challenging puzzles that are simple to comprehend and have been tested in groups to provide the greatest content. If you buy this material, you can't go wrong. The books in hardback look fantastic.

Once again Wally produces a quality, well written book. The puzzles are easily understood and quick to add into any game system. Well worth the price and a beautiful cover to go on the bookshelf, though it won't spend much time there as you will be using it on the table often.

I am becoming a big fan Of Wally's material and especially his puzzles. I had more trouble with a lot of these puzzles a few here I would only run for a much younger audience than I normally run , you know 40 year olds , rather than 60 year olds. Still there feels like more in this version that I could only run for the grand nieces and nephews. Still they would be fun and that's a great age group to throw puzzles at.
I like well, well, well ( well ) and have set up a version in my world. I really enjoy the pecan pie puzzle and again have modified it for my city adventure. Slashing Pumpkins I expanded into a halloween mini-adventure complete with a pumpkin carving Frankenstein and cursed town. I live next door to Kentville "The Home of the Pumpkin People" and I'm taking pictures this Halloween to use as handouts. This one was a huge idea mine for me and I think will be a load of fun.
I really Like the Sand Crypt and I think I can rework a few others like the maze of the elements, fancy feast, equal scales, the kraken puzzle, the clock tower, save the queen, heart in the chest. Nice artwork in this book and stat blocks for the monsters.
Just a lot of great ideas in his books. He has gleaned and collected a lot of puzzles, many that I have found useful and fun.
The magic items and 100 random rooms at the end are very fun and I think there is use to be gotten out of them.
Well worth the pdf price.

a good mix of different types of puzzles that could fit for different players / groups. Puzzles come with suggestions for different settings and uses, and even if you cannot find one that fits your current specific adventure, one of them should be adaptable to fit or inspire something you can do that will fit.

I enjoyed this one a lot. Lot of great ideas here. I especially liked Door of the Pacifist, Temple of the Rat god, The Goldfish and Forest maze, Scare Crows, Echo Chamber and Incense Deities. also liked Magicians sword box for my moon temple though I'd probably reskin it. Few Additional magic items and some fun room ideas as well. Great Idea Mine and well worth the PDF cost.

"Dying in an event is frowned upon" :D
Good simple rules to fill in those those gaps.

I've barely scratched the surface on this gem. But there's a lot of fantastic ideas mixing classic brain-teasers with situational awareness. Well laid-out and easy-to-follow. I love that each puzzle includes suggestions for ways to make it your own. Definitely worth the low price-tag!

I feel bad giving this such a poor review. Others obviously seem to enjoy this product and get value from it. I don't. The puzzles all feel very artificial. I have no idea in some cases how I would integrate these puzzles into any environment that is supposed to make any kind of sense. Some "puzzles" are banal or frustrating that I would be embarrassed to put them in front players, such as "Last Will and Testament" which is an unpleasant simulation of being an executor of a will to unreasonable specific family. Presented with a situation like that I would expect my players, or any players I have ever known, to cut the goods down the middle and be done with it, or starting trying to extort the heirs.
I found the formatting quite limited. I can't tell what any of the puzzles actually are or do without reading through them thoroughly. Their are headings on each puzzles that put them in general categories, but these are not relevant to how I would sort them at all. I find myself rereading large sections to even understand what they do what the effect is. All told, to me these feel like puzzles from a completely different style of game that has very little relevance to me.

So I have been looking for a good source of puzzles for some time, and have tried a few books without much luck, i would read them and some would just be lame and other i could not see how a party was meant to work them out and that was with answer in front of me. I then discovered this book and thought I would would give it a go.
I really enjoyed this book so much, it has a loads of really good puzzles and inspired me to create a number of my own. There is a good variety different puzzles many of which are easily editable to fit within your own campaign, the approach and lay out of the book is really accessable and gives you a good formatt to create your own. That has to be my biggest praise of this book after reading it spurred me on, i wrote a lot of the puzzle mentioned into the book into my campaign fleshing out ideas I had and filling some gaps in the campaign rather than using just another combat. I have also written another two puzzls of my own.
I spent sometime talking to the author via on youtube as well, there is a puzzle at th back of the book for the reader, and he seem like a really solid guy, I would whole heartedly recomend this book to anyone and I am tempted to re purchase the printed version.
I hope that he does another book soon

I love this!!! Could not recommend it enough! I have already used like 15 of their puzzles on my players and they have enjoyed each one! So far they've been a great hit at the table, the only problem is that I wish there were more!
