I had a great time running this one! The improv/mystery mechanic means my group's play of it went in a different direction than the example play-through outlined with the scenario itself, but that was absolutely part of the fun. The play support provided is plenty, even with the improv/mystery mechanic, and the grounding in reality makes it that much more spooky.
I was initially nervous the heavy investigative nature of the scenario would make it difficult to make the Jenga tower nice and rickety, but that proved a false fear: Requiring pulls for proper collection of clues and the knowledge needed to generate insights solved the issue for me. For more details on this specific element, here's a reddit post I made seeking guidance, and a follow-up on how this showed up in my playthrough: https://www.reddit.com/r/dreadrpg/comments/qa4ucj/running_feet_of_the_salish_sea/ .
Thanks for a great scenario and a fun, spooky night!
