It bills itself as "indispensable to Game Masters as it carries valuable examples of how to GM in the tabletop RPG Knights & Legends" but this product is a mess.
As a Quickstart guide it gives me no tools to quickly get a game up and running: the scenario included is barely a blurb and would be done in a handful of minutes, there are no pregenerated characters that I could hand out to prospective first time players, no quickstart rules that breakdown the more important sections of play or even begins to explain how to play the game.
In short this quickstart expects you to already be familiar with the game and have a character generated.
as for "valuable examples of how to GM" all it does is give a blurb of read out loud text describing what the player (singular, as the author's tone and choice of words seems to have written this expecting a one on one session rather then one gm with multiple players) does and thinks, followed by a few choices (and it picks a weird time to ask the player to make a choice IMO) that is largely meaningless, followed by more "here is what you do and think" and culminates with a fight, without giving you the stats of the monster so you need to reference the main book for that too.
I'm not sure who exactly this is for.
