I ran this for a group of 4. It was only my second session of Troika, but I found the module easy to run and everyone seemed like they enjoyed themselves, which is all I ask haha. I think the layout is awesome, it's a fun read and visually quite eye popping. I really like the almost Greek pottery-esque style (?) of the art. Particulary the drawings of the worm are very cool.
The story is definitely more about the journey than the destination, but it never felt slow to me and has some nice variety in encounters and some interesting NPCs. There are a couple possible routes for ariving at the conclusion without adding much complexity. And the additional backgrounds supplement is a nice extra, I appreciated that each new background has its own art, similar to the core book.
My only complaint is that the layout, while very aesthetically pleasing, is also is a little hard to use at times. The pages are just images, so you cannot easily search on them. And because there is spoiler text overlayed on top of much of the art, it is a little tricky to share with players mid-game without some agressive cropping. A separate set of images as handouts (or even just a text-less copy of the module) would be a helpful addition I feel.
