There's much to like about this supplement. The things it's striving to do and the things it allows you to do are fantastic. Unfortunately this gets clogged down by rules that border on programming. It's like the author wanted to make a video game, and just put their logic flow into a D&D supplement. It leaves it feeling very unlike other 5e products, which tend to sacrifice such complexity for ease of use. I really like the rules on the DMs Guild for settlements, strongholds and merchants from Walrock and I was hoping for something that would work along side that product but this just isn't it.
That being said, if you're looking for complex rule sets for making your home? This might be your bag and at this price, you couldn't afford not to!
