Also, as it's an adventure for beginning characters, how can they afford the cost of the coach ride (6/ per character) at the start of the adventure?
Let say a newly created band of adventurers compose of Harbull (herbalist Brass 2), Wanda (Wizard apprentice Brass 3), Johann (Boatman Silver 1), Kristen (Thief Brass 1) and Malmir (Busker Brass 3). Only Johann could pay the 6/ if he was lucky with is 1d10 silver shilling roll at creation... at most the others have in their pocket 6d10 brass pennies... not enough.
Most players will prefer that there character walk to Altdorf...

It does seem to be an issue that should have been addressed...

Too bad this was still not corrected. It is not a new issue.

* In WFRP 1e, players start with 3d6 gold coins and travel on a coach costs 7 gold per day. In The Enemy Within 1e the coach trip takes 2 days.

* In WFRP 2e, players start with 2d10 gold coins. Coach travel costs 7 gold PER 10 miles (!).

The values are all out of sync with the reality of the game... They lack the money even to take a coach let alone have the money to gamble with the Phillipe, unless they accept to bet beans, and so on. How this manages to pass what should be a tight scrutiny is anyone's guess.

As Cubicle 7 do not have a forum to submit errata, there is a sentence missing on page 19 in The Journey Begins:
With the PCs in control, the coach can be made to travel quite quickly for an hour, at which point. one of the wheels will come off and go rolling away down a hillside while the coach lurches sharply in the other direction. There is a 25 % chance that the coach will overturn, causing lxS3 hits to all characters (modified by T only). Characters riding on top can jump to safety, taking no damage if they make a successful Initiative test, otherwise they also take lxS2 hits.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
