The Inn of Limbus

A Damsel in Distress!

A young mother of royal blood has been kidnapped from the village of Buckshire, in the Kingdom of Elleron! In this age of chivalry, the quest to save a young woman from evil demons is the highest honor, the highest responsiblity a hero can ask for!

Follow the trail of her abductors through the forest, into the outlands between planes and to the Inn of Limbus. The inn serves as a portal to the lower planes, it is also ruled by a mysterious deity called The Neutrality. The inn is also a place of sanctuary where all races of beings are safe from others, unless the Neutrality of Limbus is violated!

Investigate and find the clues to where she has been taken and why. Explore the dungeon and sewers below the inn, where anything goes and danger lurks around every dark, dank corner. Levels 8-12 of a variety of classes are best suited for this 56 page adventure. The NPC and monster appendix adds twenty more pages at the end.

Optional encounter strengths allow for a wider variety of classes. The second download also features twenty pages of full sized maps, may derived from the artistic talent of Christian Janke of G. M. C. Publishing. Additional features and art are provided by Joe Calkins and Kyle Nyce.

A sacred spire in the Kingdom of Elleron is taken by the demon lord, Varnaku, and his minions. So begins the quest in Hanan Pacha to rid the demi-plane of the evil ones who seek to make it part of their domain! The Spire of the Raven God; The Lair of the Demon Princess, The Dead of Winter and the Labyrinth of the Lost, Beyond the Black Door and Wyrmslayer are adventures that take your PCs throughout the regions of the central lands of the Inland Sea. There are plenty of conflicts, political intrigue, memorable NPCs and mysteries to solve as the heros seek the ultimate threat to the Land of Hanan Pacha!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
