Demons & Dungeoneers! Character Sheet (Kathosa Lokenon)

Kathosa Lokenon is a Tiefling (of fiendish ancestry) that has caused her to be a loner. Because of her bloodline, there was discrimination and mistrust behind other races. Her life was difficult, but her willpower of self-love was immense ignoring and accepting she didn’t fit into the society of the Lands of Bavidirian.

As time went by, she took advantage of her abilities and honed her skills. To avoid confrontations, she often hid her face and long tail to purchase what was needed in local villages and towns to survive. It wasn’t until at a late age she was encountered for the first time by another Tiefling. She was cautious with the encounter, but through time she learned that there were many of her kind that had created a group of acceptance. Here she was promised protection, a sense of purpose, and knowledge.

She learned of the god Fieraka, and she joined the cult to embrace the beauty of fire as of its power of it. She became a cultist proud to serve for she finally wasn’t alone in this world. She learned from the leader Torifis Carabyss who is a Tiefling Ancient. In time, she acquired the powers of summoning demons and harnessing fire as a weapon. She learned from the ancient ways of Tieflings of surviving the world and protecting the cult at all costs.

She finally found her home and discrimination and prejudice are nothing but words and her very being, her meaning of life, and her purpose in these lands bring joy inside of her.

As a dungeoneer, she looks forward to exploring the Lands of Bavidirian and as a cultist known in these lands and beyond, she builds a reputation.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
