Mystic Skies

Stand alone game of spell-blazing tower defense

The skies are ablaze with the radiance of an otherworldly orb, and the Deserts of Kummeria are awakening. As wild magic gathers in swirling hurricanes, powerful sorcerers, like Maleka, harness its forces to construct towering marvels from the very sands beneath their feet. As the competition intensifies, each sorcerer seeks to claim dominion over the burgeoning areas of arcane power and fend off rivals who thirst for the unbound magical energies.

Are you ready to harness the raw power of wild magic, raise your own gleaming towers, and assert your dominion over the mystic deserts? Enter the world of Mystic Skies and prove yourself as the most skilled sorcerer in this epic battle for arcane supremacy. The fate of Kummeria lies in your hands!

Mystic Skies is a stand-alone tabletop miniatures game in which you take on the role of a mighty sorcerer riding atop a magical carpet, navigating the desert landscapes to carve out mystical kingdoms of your own. Your primary goal is to topple your enemies towers, tapping into wellsprings of power and safeguarding your territories from adversaries.

Assemble your loyal band of men-at-arms, rogues, and guards who are ready to defend your fiefdoms against the onslaught of monstrous foes, bandits, and rival sorcerers. In this high-stakes game of cunning strategy, you must use a clever combination of sorcery, manipulation, swiftness, and force to achieve victory.

  • Play with what you have: Use any miniatures in your collection to represent your forces, and the wandering monsters of the desert.

  • Dynamic Spellcasting: Unleash your sorcerous might and cast spells to summon minions, control fearsome creatures, raise formidable defenses, and launch devastating attacks upon your foes.

  • Unique Tower Defense Gameplay: Your wizard zooms across the battlefield commanding minions, monsters and more in an attempt to wreck the opposition's Tower of Sorcery before they, or the endless rampaging monsters, wreck yours.

  • Rich Lore and Setting: Immerse yourself in the rich lore of the Deserts of Kummeria, a world teeming with untamed magic, ancient tombs, and hidden sources of mystical power.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
