Greetings adventurers and Game Masters! 

I am excited to release the sixth book in my OSR Series of adventures, “AGAINST THE UNHOLY: DEMESNE OF THE DARK SISTERHOOD”. This adventure is the first in two-part series which has your players battling against a vile anti-paladin and her Chaotic cohorts, who have unlawfully taken up residence in the heart of Baile Atha Quinith, the capitol city of the Red Eagle Barony. This vile company of murders and cutthroats, known as The Dark Sisterhood, are wanted for war crimes in several neighboring kingdoms; and their illegal occupation of a long abandoned manor house a stone’s throw from Castle Quinith cannot be tolerated. Authorities want them removed from the premises and your players are just the people for the job. This mid-level one-shot adventure is intended for 4 to 6 veteran players with characters of levels 4 to 6.

Synopsis: Trouble is brewing in Baile Atha Quinith, capitol city of the Red Eagle Barony. A group of Chaotic mercenaries is squatting in an abandoned manor house. Their leader, a dark elf anti-paladin, has bribed a corrupt local official to give her livery of seisen, providing legal credence to her occupation of the manor. However, the authorities have uncovered the fraud, and they are looking for heroes to enter the complex; arrest or eliminate the marauders and the corrupt clerk; and recapture the livery of seisen.

This module is very versatile and has been written to offer Game Masters a number of play options. It can be run, as is, as a complete stand-alone adventure; or if the GM wishes they may seamlessly continue the story arc begun here into the upcoming sequel adventure “AGAINST THE UNHOLY: TOWER INVERSO”; and lastly, my long-time readers may incorporate this adventure into the story arc of the STAMUS CONTRA MALUM ("We Stand Against Evil" in the Common tongue), where it is the penultimate adventure in that campaign, which will conclude in “AGAINST THE UNHOLY: TOWER INVERSO”.

This adventure was written for use with most versions of the world’s oldest roleplaying game. Minimal OSR statistics are included in the text of the adventure, but the GM is welcome to substitute them with stats from their rulebook of choice. This scenario features a mountain of new magic items, totaling eight (8) wondrous treasures to incorporate into your campaign, including the cape of defense, dagger of doubling, elfin scale armour, half-plate armour, the hand crossbow, longbow of speed, rapier of swiftness and the coveted moonblade shortsword, rumoured to be made from exotic metals of extra-spherical origin!
