Corporate Onboarding - Solo journaling game

I’m going to need you to go ahead and play this solo journaling game about navigating corporate bureaucracy. So if you could get started that would be great.

Hello {EMPLOYEE_NAME},

We are delighted to welcome you into the Initech corporationfamily. You are now a valued member of the team and we expect you to act as such. Failure to do so will result in your immediate termination.

We expect teamwork, but we also expect you to be productive on your own. Once you have completed your onboarding tasks, please report to each of your six superiors to show them your TPS report. Once you have reported to each of them, we can discuss your future at Initech. Failure to report will result in your immediate termination.

To be successful at Initech, you will need to supply your own materials:

• Something to write on - this is your TPS report
• A flat surface on which to build your map of the office - your cubicle desk will suffice
• A standard deck of cards without the jokers, shuffled - this is your Inbox
• Two six-sided dice (2d6) - these are your Task Dice
• Index cards or random slips of paper - sticky notes are available from the storeroom
• A small token (like a paper clip, or a red stapler)

The downloads include two tri-fold pamphlets (one for the rules, the other for the info tables) and a printable staff profile that acts as your character sheet for the game.

The game includes unique events that pull you toward your goal of reporting to your six bosses. Failure to report to them before you get five warnings means you lose, so you better start using the correct covers on your TPS reports - you saw the memo about that, right?
