What is this?

"Unseen Unraveling" is a 118 paged "Generic Campaign Creation Package" for any Cthulhu/Lovecraft-themed Role Playing Game with a Horror setting / world.

This is for the GameMaster/DungeonMaster that needs adventure seeds, tons of conflicts, locations, random event table, NPC:s and tons and tons of intrigue.

This campaign book is created for you to use as a base for a larger campaign in a New England desolated town. Here is a detailed Lovecraftian town with six locations described, tons of conflicts and many different quests and NPC. There is also a D100 Event table and a full color town map!

If you are looking for an action-packed horror setting that will give you hours of fun - this is it!

However, this book does not contain any complete adventures, rule-specific stats or items with detailed tables.
Instead, this is a "generic" book, made for "any" Role Playing Game Core Rule System.

This is the fifth campaign book - the first is Arcane Dominion, which is Post-Apocalypse-themed and the second is Plunderettes!, which is a pirate-themed book, the third is the barbarian-themed Destruktors and the fourth is the Cyberpunk-themed Cyberfantôme.

This book contains:

  • One Large Main Quest.

  • 10 Detailed NPC:s with full-page color illustrations.

  • 6 Detailed locations.

  • 9 Location specific Side-Quests.

  • 4 larger Side-Quests.

  • Full color map over a whole spread!

This needs to have the same disclaimer as contained on page 7 of the book which states, in part: "This book was created using several AI:s as tools. Most of the material was created by an AI and then enhanced, edited, re-worked and mashed-up, by me (a human). All material has been curated by me and carefully edited."

I purchased this product without knowing it was created using AI. After reviewing this product, I would have still purchased it because I enjoy the artwork and the campaign creation tools it presents. However, most consumers would want to know this disclaimer before purchasing.

I am trying to be very upfront on how this was created - hence one page in each of these books are dedicated on what software was used, what tools, any licensed images etc (which in some cases do not have to be credited, but I chose to credit the artists either way).

AI:s are tools used in these books for expanding story-lines, spell- and grammar-checking. Mainly, the stories in these books are all mine, and the AI:s used have been used to expand these stories. Most of the illustrations in the books are also edited after AI-creation - sometimes even many times between my own edits and the AI-tools (the DESTRUKTORS cover is a very good example of this).

I would not been able to create and publish these books without these tools (including PhotoShop AI, the content-aware fill for instance, used extensivly).

I commend you for being as upfront as possible in the products you are creating. I understand the tools your are using and the stated reasons for using them. I am only suggesting that you post the same disclaimer on the Drive Thru Rpg page.

As previously stated, I highly recommend this book and think it is a great product.

These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
