Jamais Vu

Jamais Vu is an unofficial TTRPG inspired by the video game Disco Elysium. Play as an amnesiac investigator solving a case while discovering your own identity, while 24 aspects of your psyche (your skills!) fight for your attention.

Features include:

• 110+ pages game with solo, cooperative, and traditional modes (with a Game Master).
• Zero-prep, sit-and-play ruleset with an extremely fast character creation process and a familiar core resolution mechanic.
• Play as an amnesiac investigator working on a criminal case while investigating their identity and unlocking forgotten memories.
• Rules and structured process to discover mysteries as you play, with zero prep, including red herrings and distorted memories even for solo play.
• A system for internalizing thoughts and discovering your character as you play. Thoughts are triggered by events during play and will surprise you.
• Skills just like in Disco Elysium. The higher they get, the more useful they are but the more influence they have over you.
• A system of skill interjections that allow players to help flesh out each other's characters through roleplaying their skills.
• Oracles to generate ideas and prompts for events, characters, places, and investigation details.
