Minerunners (SWADE micro-setting)

This is a Savage Worlds Adventure Edition adaption of Minerunners, released as part of the “Fast! Furious! Fun! February! Creator Jam” (#FFFFebruary). It consists of a micro-setting, a small adventure, 18 cards, and nine pre-generated characters at both Novice and Seasoned rank:

“The dwarven city of Mairdoon was once a rich and thriving subterranean realm, nestled below the northern mountains. But the miners dug too deep, unleashing something evil—writhing shadows bubbled up from the depths, transforming the hapless populace into a ravening undead horde.

Decades have passed since that fateful day. The once great city has become a tomb, sealed off from the outside world. But stories of vast riches and magical heirlooms can prove an irresistible temptation for those seeking fame and glory, and the king grants his blessing to any wishing to test their mettle.

You are a crew of minerunners, dwarven raiders who venture into the old city in search of treasure, using your arcane-powered war wagon to plow through the zombie-infested upper levels.”

The PDF uses layers for ease of printing, and there is a second PDF for black & white printers. The Minerunners Deck is included as an extra download (both US Letter and A4 formats, as well as a VTT version). This product is split into four sections, as follows:

1. Micro-Setting

Pages 3 and 4 can be printed on a single sheet of paper. They contain everything you need (other than a copy of the Savage Worlds core rules) to play Minerunners as a micro-setting. The Fantasy Companion is recommended, but not required.

2. Crowning Achievement

Pages 5 and 6 can be printed on another sheet of paper. They provide an example adventure which you can run either with or without a GM.

3. Minerunners Deck

Pages 7 and 8 can be printed on yet another sheet of paper. They contain the Minerunners Deck for people who don’t want to print out the individual cards. Instead, you can use your Action Deck as a quick reference.

4. Pregenerated Characters

The last six pages can be printed single-sided, cut out, and shared with your group. Pages 9-11 offer nine example Novice characters, and pages 12-14 repeat the same characters at Seasoned rank.
