Heroes & Heels Core Rulebook

Heroes and Heels is a 5e compatible role playing game set in a generic super-heroic setting. The game introduces Brick, Blaster and Soldier classes and supporting sub-classes that can be used to build heroes matching many of the popular TV and movie superhero franchises visible in popular culture today. Designed for smooth gameplay while still remaining true to well known rule-playing conventions (hit points, multiple attacks and slots for powers). Includes rules for modern and hi-tech weapons, a power casting system and feat system that covers options from shapechanging, mimicry, super-strength, martial arts and psionics. Includes a random powerset character creation option and detailed explanations of how to build complex powers and intricate power limitations and vulnerabilities.

This is a complete game with an optional simplified XP system that enables this to be used without other material but is written for intermediate experience Game Masters.

Its a complete set of rules for Superhero 5E games. Combined with the Sanctuary City Sourcebook and Bestiary it can be used as a universal Modern system with the ability to handle urban fantasy and cyberpunk campaigns.

Effects based, feat and slotted power system provide superhero rules to plug into other systems. 

2023 playtest 5 changes suggested balance adjustments are included. If 5.5 is officially released, we will produce an updated product included in this one. 

Includes writeups for high level characters the Topaz Hornet and the Free, some of the key heavyweight supers of the Sanctuary City setting (where female meta's outnumber male meta's). That's why its Heroes and Heels.
