Superpowered! is a lightweight, 2d6-based role-playing game that allows players to play these superpowered heroes, with highly varied powers, as they work to keep their city, country, world, and the universe safe from the evil plots of those who would destroy all that is right and good.

Superpowered! is based on the Quantum Engine and is thus compatible with Stellagama Publishing's Cepheus Atom post-apocalyptic rules, Barbaric! sword & sorcery rules, and Quantum Starfarer space-opera rules.

What's the difference between Quantum Engine and Cepheus Engine?

The Quantum Engine is an independent RPG engine using a similar core mechanic as the Cepheus Engine, but is a lighter, faster-play engine.

The last revision was made on January 15th, while the latest comment about typos was made on the 20th. The writer commented on the issue the following day, saying it would be fixed in the next revision.

So no, they have not been fixed yet.

I gotta say I would have pulled the trigger on this but I'm holding out because of the mention of typos needing addressed, and then seeing that they are not being addressed. Shame.

It says you can use a hero point to "Reroll a throw on the mortal wounds or mishap tables. They may take the
better result." but I can't see either table. If I have missed it, could someone reference their page numbers? Thank you! If it's not there, then that's a problem lol.

This is an error - there is no such table in Superpowered!. This is probably text left in Superpowered! from an earlier draft. We will remove it in the next revision.

In the preview, it says there are 7 skills, Combat, Knowledge, Physical, Social, Stealth, Superpower, & Technology.

Under Physical: “This can include feats of athleticism, stealth, or resisting bodily effects…”

Yet there’s a separate skill for Stealth alone. Typo?

These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
