Awesome book. Love what you do. Love the whole series. Who are you doing next? Polynesians? I want to see Maui covered. Inuit? Oh, American Indian? Indian Indian? Tibet maybe? Oh, there's a lot more of Africa left. Oh, and all of Asia to cover. I didn't know you were going to keep these coming after you covered most of the influences of Western civilization. I'm excited to see where this will take us.

I have another question as well. Will you be updating some of the older issues with things like the spirits which were back logged in volume 3? Just wondering if I need to check up on these from time to time and if they would be supplemented in over time.

Keep them coming.

Thanks very much- I appreciate your support. Next book will likely be totems & folk. I'm about two years behind putting into print what I've posted to my website, so the stuff that I posted last year will hopefully be available in book form next year.

I'll likely be updating Volume I as I move on to the next website series which will be mini-adventures for each divinity in that one. You should get an email whenever any titles have been updated, all free to upload again to the newest version.

Will do.

Hi Dan. I've liked every previous instalment a lot and am very interested in the subjects of this one, but can you tell me if "Classic RPGs" means this isn't for DCC? Previous ones were either Labyrinth Lord or DCC - which is this, or is it something else?

Hi Andrew, Glad to hear it. This one's not for DCC. It's compatible with Labyrinth Lord and other retro-clones, but does have the more modern save system (Fort, Ref, Will) listed alongside any saves vs. spell, etc. for those who prefer either method.

Thanks! I'll wait for the DCC version assuming one is coming.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
