For hundreds of years there has been talk of a castle on a mountain where a powerful sorcerer lived. The sorcerer’s soldiers collected treasures from areas around the castle and locked this gold in a massive treasury, guarded by a dragon. Daring adventurers sought out the castle with the dragon in an attempt to make off with its treasures, but none is said to have survived this deadly place.
The Castle and the Dragon is an adventure site set in a random generated castle, guarded by the long dead denizens, now infected with a demon sickness. The city. A week ago, two brothers stumbled upon the castle while hiking on Red Mountain in Ravenland. They searched for their runaway goat but fled home in panic when they saw what the castle had done to their prized ruminant! The sorcerer’s ghost has found peace and ceased protecting the castle with its magic. The castle's inhabitants died a long time ago, and the Dragon starved to death. However, rats found their way into the castle. Demon-infested and plague-bearing, these rodents ate through every creature they could find, spreading a demon plague.

The Castle and the Dragon part 2: Drakenborgues Fate is a 2-page sequel to the first adventure in this pack. This one assumes that the previous adventureres failed in their attempt to rescue the village of Drakenborgue and the current group of adventurers will experience the fallout casused by said failure. It is a very simple, small and perhaps dangerous encounter to visit Drakenborgue.
