The Unconquered Land (ashcan)

The Unconquered Land is a game about locals - the Ora - working together to repel the incursion of hostile conquerors, which the game calls the Invaders. It's also a game about those peoples' relationship to powerful spirits of nature found nowhere else in the world. Through might, wisdom, alliances, and magic, the inhabitants of the mountains will fight for their independence, their culture, and in many cases their lives.

Inspired by the board game Spirit Island and using rules Sparked by the Resistance, The Unconquered Land puts your characters in pivotal positions for the defense of the land. Each Player portrays one of the Favored: a person who has gained the interest and goodwill of one of the spirits of the mountains. The Favored are trusted with a scrap of their spirit's power, giving them magical abilities and notoriety amongst the Ora.

This is the "ashcan" edition of the game. It's very short, containing just the basic information you'll need to play. Purchases of this game will fund the creation of the full-length game, with extensive spirit powers, deeper setting information, more detailed rules, and artwork.
