Atomic Punk 2160 is an OSR-compatible game that takes the classic BX rules you know and love and modifies them with some classic sci-fi inspiration to fit an atomic punk post-apocalyptic setting much like your favorite game of collecting caps. Because of the OGL, you get two versions. The more pure BX version and a version that is still very "BX" under the hood but also works on a 2d10 system.

The game includes:

- Interesting backgrounds and classes like the mutant and the wasteland warrior

- Firearms, lasers, and plasma weapons

- Mechanics for breaking armor

- An interesting background skill system and leveling/advancement method

-Simple vehicle combat rules.

- Radiation exposure

- Monsters of the Wasteland

- An old-world "ruin generator"

- Simple rules for solo gaming

- A monster generator to allow referees to make unique monsters on the fly

It is everything you need to get your bunker dweller rolled up, equipped, and exploring in the wasteland.

Well I have updated this because of the OGL. I think this is more the game I originally wanted anyways and I hope others like it as well. Cheers! The more BX like one is still downloadable as a PDF. You get both the old version and PDF and the new one that uses 2d10 as well.

Hi, I've picked up on page 87 that the Bleed out description cuts off after "If this is a..." Could you advise what the full sentence is meant to say?

Still working my way through this and really liking what I've seen so far.

Is there any chance you could put together a small supplemental pdf that simply lists all the tables?

Could see that being really useful and quicker for use at the table.

Would this be a good book for Gamma World lovers who want OSR system?

Not author here, but I think I can speak to the subject and give my opinion.

Its more Fallout than Gamma World in tone. But it does have Background's (basically a derivation of Race) that are Gamma-ish: Human, Mutant, Revenant, Robot, and Bunker Dweller. Mutant has a table of 12 unique characteristics that MUST be random rolled for during character creation.

I believe it would be quite easy to expand upon this with other Gamma tropes. Same could be said about the rest of the game, its basically a fallout-ish toolbox where the framework is presented and its up to you and your table to fill in all the details and customize your post apocalypse setting.

So in my opinion yes it is.

I would also recommend checking out Mutant Future its also OSR and patterned more closely to Gamma World.

Really looking forward to picking this up when I have money free for myself (after Christmas) but I have a question; you mentioned in the video that you are having fun doing bunker-crawls, are any of those bunkers going to see the light of day? I love the idea of this game and I plan to purchase it but a pre-written introductory module or even a few would take this from my wishlist to me cart pretty quick.

Yes, I've been intending to do this. It's on the list of projects to complete. I can't say when as I have to organize my stuff and get it all laid out. And then probably illustrate parts too. So I don't know when such an adventure would release. But it is higher on my priority list than others projects right now.

These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
