Includes a module for Foundry VTT

UKRAINIAN ARMS FOR A 2000+ SETTING. This expansion adds Ukrainian produced weapons for an alternative Twilight: 2000+ setting past the year 2000 with some few weapons also available before the year 2000.

This book is an effort to acknowledge the domestically manufactured arms of Ukraine and make them playable in the confinements of the Twilight: 2000 4th edition system roleplaying system.

Over 30+ weapons, versions and attachments are provided in this expansion along with the stats and rules needed, ranging from pistols to assault rifles, light machine gun, sniper rifles, anti-material rifles, anti-tank guided missiles, a weapon attachment and a Soviet era smoke grenade.

Not every weapon listed in this expansion will be suitable for all campaigns and that is why I have noted the year when each weapon were introduced in our timeline.

Although only a handful of the guns listed in this expansion were introduced before the year 2000 and most will probably only be suitable in a Twilight: 2000+ setting, even campaigns set in the year 2000 could argue that the alternate timeline could mean that the weapons manufacturing of Ukraine within the Soviet Union would have been escalated to a point that at least some of the other guns could have been produced before the year 2000.

That said – others are clearly NATO inspired and even licensed versions of the AR10, AR15 and the M4, and would never have been realized during the Soviet Union.

Good Morning, I purchased this document for an upcoming adventure on Foundry VTT. I have noticed an issue with the weapon compendium it seems not to be identifying with version 10 of the system / Version 10 of the Twilight core 4v. When attempting to load Install manually I get this error
[ukrainian-arms-module] Metadata validation failed for module "ukrainian-arms-module": Module Model Validation Errors
[Module.packs]: Model Validation Errors
The Compendium pack "Ukrainian-arms" of the "Item" type must declare the "system" upon which it depends.

Any help would be amazing

Thanks for the heads up! It seems as though v10 demands some additional parameters, so I've uploaded a new version 2 of the module that should be available for download now.

Brilliant thank you for your quick reply and problem solving… question do you do all the art work yourself or source from open source?

Yes. I paint my own illustrations all though I have been trying to keep them somewhat in line with the style of 4th edition.

Just fantastic chap really close to the original artwork.. I would love to see a complete British listing like the one you have created.. L85A1 /A2, SLR, Sterling, HK55, HK53 etc. I would pay handsomely for that.

Thanks for the kind words. Can't promise a complete British listing right now, since I'm currently working on illustrating a couple of other unannounced expansions, but there's sure room for more illustrations moving forward.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
