^@#$% you, Modiphius. I distinctly recall a LONG chain of emails with the president of the company, PROMISING me adventure modules and campaign books, and all sorts of RPG goodness. I recall offering to head up the project. I recall passing on the names of top notch cartographers and content creators of every type who were willing to help flesh out the Fallout RPG universe.

It would appear that Fallout is yet another Modiphius cash cow. We get a source book. That's it. You want a campaign world? Suck it.

Better off using one of the six or seven unofficial previous versions. Some of them had a dozen of more adventure modules. Aftermath (predates Fallout) has a PILE of adventure modules and supplements available. All of which could provide fertile grounds for Fallout material.

James more content is coming but we have to do things at Bethesda's speed of approvals. We cannot flesh out the universe as we like as it's not our universe to do so. We have to base things on existing cannon content - that is happening but Bethesda's approvals have been particularly slow. It doesn't matter how many people you throw at it if the pipeline only has a certain capacity. Things are moving quicker - we were led to believe this would be easier but it's taken a lot longer than hoped

Then you should have refused to publish the source book until Bethesda "opened the pipeline" a notch.

Tell Bethesda that their customers are sick and tired of excuses, and are starting to demand their money back. Personally, I'll hang on to my copy as a collectors item. ..The 7th or 8th attempt at starting a cohesive Fallout campaign system that never panned out. Hit them in the pocketbook, and they might start to look at the problem.

We already had this discussion. You could literally use the storyline from Fallout 1, 2, 3 and etc. as your first few campaign sources and adventure modules. What are they going to do.. declare their own storyline content as non-canon??

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
