STAKE 4: Wild Man of the Wood

The booming lumber trade of southern Ontario is
 threatened when a mysterious creature of legend 
wreaks havoc among the lumberjacks and hunters who 
dare to encroach on its land. You are a member of
 STAKE, a special division of Scotland Yard assigned 
to deal with the macabre and elements of the supernatural
 including banshees, werewolves, and other
 things that go bump in the night. Indeed, something 
wicked dwells in the forest!


STAKE uses a modified version of the Fudge game
 system where every roll of the dice may lead to a new 
discovery or end the player’s mission at the snap of a 
finger. The game uses a guided adventure path 
format which allows up to 3 players to role play at one 
time without the need for a dedicated GM.


Solve puzzles, uncover ancient mysteries, and thwart
 evil at every turn. Hunt down the Wild Man of the
 Wood and bring peace once more to the land! It’s all
 part of the job as a member of STAKE!
