Grizzled Adventurers is a lightweight roleplaying game that helps you design a party of experienced heroes and run them through a dungeon in a single evening. The game is designed to tell stories about those heroes who never retired: the battle-scarred warrior who cannot put down the sword, the haunted mage who still thirsts for more, and the thief who has lost a couple fingers but gained a few fortunes.

This is an excellent game, and I've enjoyed running it. There are a few typos and missing items, though:

1) Dyson Logos' name is misspelled underneath each of his maps.
2) The character creation section uses the gold standard, but the rest of the game says the world uses the silver standard.
3) Other than the massive wealth treasure in some dungeons, I couldn't find any guidelines for how much treasure characters should find each adventure. Since going back home and buying supplies for next time is part of the play loop, this seems like an oversight.

Hoping to see the dungeon builder supplement soon!

Soon I'm going to be running a game of Beyond the Wall, and I'm looking for as much supporting material as I can find to expand my game. I have all the BtW supplements I'm aware of, but I'm always looking for more. Is this fully compatible? I'm especially interested in whether the magic system is the same, or if it would take extra work to adapt.

Grizzled Adventurers is mechanically compatible with both Beyond the Wall and Through Sunken Lands, including the magic system, but takes a different tone than either of them. The part of it that would mostly likely be useful to your BtW campaign would be its guide to building dungeons, which would work a bit like a scenario pack. It is designed for characters of a higher level than starting BtW characters, and would suit just fine for a more experienced party.

What you have given is a brief description. A preview is an actual PDF in addition to a description showing a few pages of the game. Most games on Drivethru show a preview. A good preview includes the table of contents and a few pages from the game. This gives players an idea of the layout and aesthetics of the game (some games have art and some just have a nice layout), a better idea of what's in the game, and the writing style of the rules. At 92 pages, a PDF preview would be okay to do without "giving away" the whole game for free and will act as a kind of advertisement to help sell a game. This is particularly important for games that are selling Hardcover rulebooks.

These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
