For thirty years, the abandoned lot in downtown Moc-Gila has rotted and festered. Over the decades, it's become home to snivelling astro-rats and the carnivorous sewer crabs that feed upon them. Shattered glass, criminal activity, and the smell of carbonized crustaceans (crisped by the astro-rats' defensive flame breath) have clung to this cesspit of a commercial site like flesh on fangs. Perhaps worst of all - though technically unconfirmed as of yet - legend has it an evil cult to a subterranean murder-god have claimed the ruins as their temple. The city has turned over a new leaf, and hired the best of the best to clear out the rubble and build a new hospital in its place.

The begotten ground quakes, broken windows rattle in their destitute frames. Over yonder horizon - eighty tons of steel, rubber, and churning proto-sapient cement - the Hephaestus Pattern Heavy Cement Mixer - takes up all three lanes of the pothole-laden street, which it paves over like new in its wake.

Leaning out from the Hephaestus' boarding balcony, a throaty-voiced muscular dragon-woman roars as she blasts the site with blizzard-cold AC from the industrial climate-control units on her shoulders. Swarms of astro-rats skitter away, lest they be reduced to icy figurines.

A devil-horned creature clambers down the personnel ladder, cackling eagerly to himself. Upon groundfall, he foists his sledgehammer and tears down debris and sewer crab alike - for though one sewer crab is three mens' equal, the demolisher is in turn five crabs' equal.

Limbs curled in eldritch postures, a flighty faun flicks their wrists, summoning walls of brick, establishing the basis of the hospital-to-be. Spotting a hooded figure in the corner of their eye, they transmute their hand into a razor-sharp trowel, slicing their assailant and downing him right as he pulls a dagger from his cloak. So the rumors were true...

killsector_constructigores_hazardmaster_

Donning her high-vis vest and safety goggles, a TV-chested cat-woman prepares the rune-laden hazard tape, ensuring no innocent bystander finds themself entrenched in this battle. Just when she thought it'd be another day on the field, she sees the demolisher forgot to clasp the chinstrap on his hardhat - while working beneath a precarious archway, no less! The feline forewoman corrects her comrade's equipment, and just in the nick of time - an errant boulder hurdles from above, shattering the devil's headgear. Better the helmet than the cranium!

Suddenly, a rumbling from beneath - the earth splits itself in twain. A skeletal molerat the size of an elephant claws its way from underground, and with it no less than fifty ghouls. The death god has answered its worshippers' prayers, and has come to defend its throne. The construction crew readies their weapons - for building and fighting is where the Constructigores excel, and now more than ever is their time to shine!

The Constructigores is an eighteen-page document outlining a legion of super-powerful interstellar construction workers. The Constructigores will build on sites too hectic and too dangerous for anyone else. Hundreds of colony worlds owe the construction of their homes and facilities to the backbreaking efforts of these Herculean workers. They’re doubly unrivalled in building sturdy gladiatorial colosseums, and repairing them mid-gauntlet should the need arise. They’re also known for their immaculate fighting spirit and ability to juggle between fighting and building - indeed, the tale of the Jagged Jackhammers erecting a skyscraper on Abaddon Prime in under a week, while also fending off a dozen archfiends and elder dragons, is but one of countless ballads sung of their heroics across the cosmos. They’re able to do what they do due to specialized training, high-tech tools and cybernetics, a deep trust of their fellow workers, and a keen sense of brotherhood.

This document includes full statistics for four ready-to-play Constructigores and their flagship Hephaestus Pattern Heavy Cement Mixer, over a dozen new construction-themed functions, worldbuilding suggestions and strategy guides for running or playing as Constructigores, and a selection of uniquely specialized Special Union Chapters. Those seeking Kill Sector lore will find juicy details on the Worker-Marines, Blood Augers, Jagged Jackhammers, and Gurgling Grafters - detailed enough to work as a springboard for gauntlets and campaigns, but open enough to be adapted and interpreted as Gauntlet Masters see fit.

If you're looking for a tightly-knit, pre-constructed party composition - but one that deviates from the tank/healer/dps/mage norm - or want the scoop on some Kill Sector worldbuilding, then this is the doc for you!

Important: In order to use The Constructigores to their fullest capacity, you'll need the Kill Sector Core Rulebook, also available on DriveThruRPG!

These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
