Cryptids Inc. - Modern 5e

Cryptids Inc. is an all-new 5e Campaign setting that features Cryptids, Explosions, Mystery, and Explosions. Really, who doesn’t like that? The world is full of monsters and the ones who hunt them. Every myth, every folk tale, every urban legend is true and the rest of the world is none the wiser. It falls to a secret society of monster hunters, Cryptids Inc., to make sure that the shroud of normalcy never falls and that the monsters that would devour all of humanity given the chance are dealt with.

However, Cryptids Inc isn’t all about destroying monsters. It’s about protecting those same monsters from those that would exploit and destroy them. In this book, you’ll find a rundown on the cryptids of the United States of America and it’s close neighbors including which Cryptids and organizations call each state their home.

• Brawler: Martial experts who can go blow-for-blow with even powerful supernaturals armed with nothing but their bare hands.

• Dreamer: Trained in bending the Dreaming to their will, dreamers draw on supernatural powers fueled by the very realm from which cryptids originate.

• Infiltrator: With a light step and a deft hand, infiltrators bypass security and fool the eye, handling much of the subterfuge and espionage of whatever organization they may find themselves in.

• Mage: Philosophers, scholars, and fanatics alike hear the call of the mage, and become experts in all things arcane, which they command through insight and force of will.

• Mechanist: Tinkers, researchers, and technical experts, mechanists are savvy specialists who use their gadgets, inventions, and upgrades to support and lead missions.

• Soldier: The rank-and-file infantry of various organizations, Soldiers can take a beating, and are unmatched experts in a wide array of weapons and combat techniques.

• Paragon: Being often a little more than human, the paragon is a natural-born expert in fighting the forces of the Dreaming, leading some to believe that they are uniquely chosen for this role before they even know it.
