Spirits of Power

Legendary Shamans is the latest volume in our series of class-focused player supplements for Pathfinder Second Edition, this time focusing on the master channelers of the spirit world known as shamans. This new class is a versatile spellcaster that blends veneration of nature and the wild things that dwell therein with the myth and fantasy of animist shamanism. They bind themselves to the spirits of this world following the paths of animism, conduits, and mediums, with over 50 class feats to tailor their talents from Soulsight and Lucid Trance to Share Spirit and Manifest Ley Lines. You'll find over a dozen spirits to bind and wield their powers, including occult Ancestor, Akashic, and Dream spirits and primal Flame and Life spirits, and over 40 fantastic spells like project dream, twist fate, glorious plumage, and avatar of the deep! Grab this incredible 32-page class expansion for Pathfinder Second Edition and Make Your Game Legendary!

Is there plans for a PF1E version? The Pathfinder 1E set is nearly complete with all the classes. Thanks

I think the "spirits" section on page 4 needs a little once over with an editor as a page number reference is missing and the archetype wording doesnt make sense to me.

The example states "at 9th-level, you will have three different spirits who each have one archetype dedication feat and two archetype feats." but the rules say you only get archetype feats every four levels you have after 5th level. I assume you get one at 5th level but the writing doesn't state this.

All spirits have dedication feats. You get your first archetype feat at 5th, your second at 9th, and so on.

But the spirits don't seem to have any archetypes listed.

You get to pick what spirits get which archetypes, which allows for more flavorful customization. There's a sidebar with tips discussing which archetype feats are more or less compatible with the idea; You can default to the multiclass archetypes in most cases, but sometimes the story will want your shaman to channel the spirit of a deceased Lion Blade or Red Mantis Assassin.

In the Boricubos Iconics there's a Shaman who actually has two spirits whose archetypes are Beastmaster and Blessed One. The intent is for the GM and player to work together to come up with the personality/composition of the spirit the Shaman gains access to :)

I cannot find table 3-11 in the document. What progression should be used?

I've alerted the publisher to this error. Shamans use the same spellcasting progression as a Wizard or Druid.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
